Ah, this is where we disagree. I cannot accept a faith as vehomenly against Christianity as islam is. Plain and simple. Call me spiritually defective. It’s fine. There is no greater honor than to be insulted for Christs’ name. There is only one angel called Gabriel. One that spoke to mohammad and one that spoke to Mary. I know wish came from God. The other angel that denied Christ as the Son of God. God Himself. Could not have been from God. Otherwise you and I and all Christians have been deceived. Take your pick.

The truths it has are taken from the OT and NT. Nothing from his angel or his own mind. He cannot be considered a prophet of God of any sort by Christians. A prophet of God would not deny Jesus as God. Therefore, whatever mohammad is doing, he is leading people away from God. Either by his mental illness or by one of Satan’s minions. No Angel, prophet, spokesperson, or whatever would deny Christ as God. So, it doesn’t take much to see that the god of islam is not the God of Christianity. And that also puts questionable value on whatever mohammad wrote when writing his book.

The veil is NOT a degrading for the woman, Islam impose it to protect the woman not to degrade her.

The problem with publicly accepting the final conclusion for Muslims is very hard, there are consequences on someone leaving Islam religion not only on him/her but also the family. So the best thing the Christian can do is to deliver Jesus message then pray that some Muslims would accept it within themselves even if they stayed Muslims superficially.

So, because some men where you live can’t control themselves the burden falls on the woman to wear such clothing in often times 100 F (38C) heat? Sounds degrading to me.

Firstly, here in Saudi Arabia the temperature in the summer can reach 140F/60C between 12pm-3pm.
Secondly, those women who wear the Veil/Niqab/Burqa are not only protecting themselves against those lustful men we have BUT primarily are following GOD instructions as they believe, so they should be thanked for doing so in this massive heat.
Thirdly, please start a new thread if you want to discus that further more.

I thought we were having a hot summer here in New England with temperatures in the 90s to near 100. But then again our normal temperatures are only supposed to be in the lower 80s.

Well, it may be inflammatory, but then Muslims burn Bibles and behead Christians so I don’t see where Muslims have much room to complain. If they don’t want the Koran burned, leave our holy book alone. If they want peace, leave the Christians in this world to live in peace.
