"You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:3)
Reflection:
On Easter, many throughout the world are baptized into the Church, and those already baptized renew the vows of their baptism.
By baptism, we are immersed in the new life of Christ. Thanks to baptism, God looks at us through the eyes of His Son, and says, ‘You are my child; you died on the cross, therefore you will rise from the dead.’
Prayer: Father, thank you for immersing me into the death and resurrection of your Son! Thank you for making me part of the People of Life!

(I’ve been very ill, again, sleeping for well over a day.
the following post is for yesterday. I’ll post today’s later.)

"Everyone who does evil hates the light and avoids coming near the light so that his misdeeds may not be exposed" – John 3:20.
Reflection:
A key priority of our pro-life movement must be to expose the corruption of the abortion industry. Making abortion legal never made it safe, and keeping it legal can never keep it safe. You can’t practice vice virtuously. If you are willing to kill a baby, you will be willing to do many other kinds of evil as well.
Prayer: Lord, bring into the light the evils being done behind closed doors in abortion centers, that our nation may repent and be healed, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

"When they heard that he was alive…they refused to believe it." (Mark 16:11)
Reflection:
On Easter morning, the women who had seen the Risen Lord were greeted by disbelieving apostles. That night, Jesus chided them for their stubborn refusal to believe.
The apostles clearly were not engaged in wishful thinking. They came to believe because they saw and touched the risen Lord. This gives us confidence. The victory of life is more than wishful thinking.
Prayer: Lord, sometimes we doubt your victory over death, and your ability to overcome the Culture of Death. Drive the power of doubt away, and enable me to spread the certainty of the victory of life! Amen!

"They ran from the tomb to inform his disciples…" (Matthew 28:8)
Reflection:
On the morning of Jesus’ resurrection, there was a lot of running taking place. The women, having seen the empty tomb, ran back to the disciples. Peter and John, having heard the women’s story, ran toward the tomb. And in the end, of course, all the apostles ran into the world to announce this greatest news of history.
We, too, must run to announce the Gospel of Life with vigor, and to intervene to save the unborn with urgency.
Prayer: Lord, your Gospel of Life is cause for urgent activity! Fill me with the vigor of Easter each day, that I may announce the victory of Life! Amen!

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

"Why do you look among the dead for one who is alive? He is not here. He has been raised." (Luke 24:5-6)
Reflection:
How easy it is for people to seek the living one among the dead. Despair causes them to look to death as a solution. But death is never a solution. When we look to Jesus, we find the Living One, and he strengthens us to choose life.
Prayer: Lord, we do not seek you, among the dead. Grant that your people may never turn to death for comfort or hope, but only to you, the Living Lord. Amen!

"Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb." (Luke 1:42)
Reflection:
May is marked by the beautiful ceremony of the May crowning. We present to Mary, the mother of Life, the sign of life contained in the flowers that grow at this time of year. By doing this, we honor Mary for saying yes to the Life of God in her womb.
Prayer: Mary, we ask you today to intercede for all those who find it difficult to accept the gift of new life, whether within their own womb or in someone else. Help them say Yes. Amen.

Lord, please changes the hearts of people to choose life over death. Grant the mothers of the world to give a baby a chance to live. Help us spread love over the alternative. Amen!
Dear Lord God Almighty,
Help us by the Power of The Holy Spirit,
the same Spirit that Raised Jesus The Christ;
raise awareness throughout Christendom and the land,
for The Sacredness of Life, that constantly lights
Your Light on the hillside to Give Glory to Our Father in Heaven.
Amen.

"Who will roll back the stone for us?" (Mark 16:3)
Reflection:
On Easter morning, little did the women know that the stone already been rolled away, and that Jesus was alive.
But the women’s question persists today. Who will roll away the stone for us? Who will free humanity from death, from sin, and from despair? How do we roll away the culture of death?
The answer also persists: Jesus Christ is Risen! In him we advance the victory of life.
Prayer: Lord, so many wonder how we will ever end abortion and the Culture of death. But I renew my faith that the stone has been rolled back already. Your victory is among us!

"They stood still, their faces filled with sadness." (Luke 24:16)
Reflection:
On the first Easter Sunday afternoon, the two disciples walking on the road to Emmaus failed to recognize Jesus when he started walking with them.
Perhaps it was because they were looking downcast.
Often we are too absorbed in our own disappointment to see that hope is right in front of us. For many who are pregnant, despair and fear can lead to the violence of abortion – unless we intervene and show that the Lord is walking with us.
Prayer: Lord, I pray for all whose sadness tempts them to abortion. Give me the opportunity to speak, and to reveal your presence. Amen!

"Now Thomas …was not with the rest when Jesus came." (John 20:24)
Reflection:
So where was Thomas on that first Easter night?
Perhaps he was out looking for Jesus! After all, he had to see things for himself.
Yet Thomas did not find Jesus until he returned to the community of Peter and the other apostles.
We too need the community of the Church, united around the successor of Peter. There we find the strength to affirm life.
Prayer: Lord, I thank you that I do not fight the Culture of Death alone, but rather in the midst of your People of Life. Keep me always in union with the Church, and vigorous in proclaiming life!

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Fatima, Amen!

"Beloved, since God loved us so much, we should love one another" (1 John 4:9).
Reflection:
When we obey the command in this verse of Scripture, we give life to one another. When we love our unborn neighbors, we do all we can to save them from the violence of abortion. And in doing so, we are loving God himself.
Prayer: Lord, help me understand that my love for those who may be difficult to accept or care for is not supposed to be measured based on my own strength, but on the strength of your love for us. Inspired by your generosity, make me generous. Amen.

"A ‘new feminism’ … rejects the temptation of imitating models of “male domination”, in order to acknowledge and affirm the true genius of women in every aspect of the life of society, and overcome all discrimination, violence and exploitation" – The Gospel of Life, 99.
Reflection:
The early feminist leader Elizabeth Cady Stanton said, “When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit.” Authentic feminism is pro-life!
Prayer: Lord, renew our society with a deeper appreciation of the true genius of women, and of their role in a culture of life. Amen.

"For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood" 2 Kings 24:4
Reflection:
The difficulties God’s People encountered from the enemies around them were not the result of military or political flaws, but of moral flaws. Chief among them was the shedding of blood by child sacrifice. The strength of a people begins with its moral character, and that of its leaders, as well as its fidelity to the Lord’s Covenant.
Prayer: Lord, you hate the shedding of innocent blood. Protect and forgive your people and bring us to the Promised Land of eternal life. Amen.
