This is absurd. But it sums up secular “morality” quite well actually.
Indeed. There is a cognitive dissonance to any moral discussion which involves an atheist who denies that there are objective moral truths.

No one goes to a forum to argue whether turnips are better vegetables than okra. At least, there aren’t pages and pages and pages of dialogue about this.

Why?

Because any person who contributes to a “is okra better than turnip” discussion understands that there is no right answer to the question.

It’s a preference only.

The fact that atheists come and try to argue their moral position limns this fact quite clearly: the atheist believes in objective good and bad.

Otherwise, why would he argue for his position?
