Good morning, dandingo,My intention was* not* to start a thread about the end times. I started this thread because of what I stated in my original post.
The point of this thread was to show that since Jesus stated that there would be earthquakes then one of two things must be true: either there would be earthquakes all over the earth simultaneously or that Jesus was prophecying that there would be a global communication, such as the internet or TV. I say simultaneously because if they weren’t, it would just be any other day since earthquakes happen all over the world pretty regularly. Otherwise, there would be no way that people in Turkey would know about earthquakes in Oklahoma or vice versa.
That was the only point I was trying to make. I apologize if I opened up a can of worms for some. I know that can be easy on any forum.![]()
My apologies. I didn’t mean to hi-jack your thread from the OP. Only, the title and OP contain the phrase of “end times” and what Jesus said was in the context of when He returns, at the end. How can we discuss what he said, out of context?
Anyway, the earthquakes we’re having this century are generally stronger than before. And, it seems to me, that the pertinent fact of the Oklahoma earthquake is that the fault there is becoming active, and hasn’t been active for God knows how long.
I was raised in Texas, and in the 1940’s and '50’s there were no reports of earthquakes in Oklahoma. So, earthquake wise, now is different than before, in Oklahoma.
And, yes, there’s reports of earthquakes from all over the planet available on line:

See for yourself, at the above link.
God loves you,
