I left my umbrella behind on the train.
Now, how are we going to keep ourselves dry?

Stand under the shelter of the overhang high
As we charbroil the filets and eat in the garage.

My brother and his entourage
Will be here soon. It’s nearly six!

Will they be up to their old tricks?
I think I’ll pass and go and hide.

It’s my back on which I cannot rely,
On my lounge chair I shall relax.

Come on, Fella! Face the facts:
Family’s Family; step to the plate.

You’re all so great -
so to @Minks @Convert3 @BartholomewB - thankyou all three, the last 20 odd posts have been a joy to read, the quick riposte between you three was enjoyed by me.

A beautiful morning is nice to see,
A good night’s sleep is more valuable than gold.

Really too bad about the flat.
And a good thing we’d not cooked those steaks!

Such is life! Lol! “Them’s da breaks!”
PARTY TIME !! Call the gang and buy more beer . . .

The time of year children love the corn maze,
Followed by traditional pumpkin picking!

Another month gone … The clock is ticking.
In two days’ time it’ll be October.

We desperately need to find a decoder
who can tell us the secrets of the Amazon synod.

Oh, the things that have been hinted!
Blogs and CAF all agog on what may be.

Like siblings awaiting the birth of a baby
We worry that things may be going to change

The mind is scattered over a wide range,
Anxiety and depression strike once again.

And we have to re-deal with this pain.
Don’t worry my friend, it will soon pass.
