prayer tonight and at the 5:00 pm Mass tomorrow. God is good and generous to me
giving me the benefit of your kindness. I will never forget you.

Lo and behold, I feed many birds and a pesky squirrel. Last
night as it turned dark, I was sitting, watching TV. Heard a racket, and was stunned
to see a raccoon tearing at the hole in the screen! He wanted in to the porch because
of two bags of birdfeed. Apparently, the corn and sunflower seeds inside proved
irresistible! To make a long story short, he made a second appearance and I had
to be loud with him. I knew if he got in the porch, he could really tear up the place. I
have securely put the feed in a safer place. He sat in the backyard tree for a long time
watching me walk back and forth. Had to say he looked darling with his little black
mask on. A night raider!!!

We started putting out some bird seed on our kitchen window sill last winter. It didn’t take long for the squirrels (having built a “drey”* in our spruce) discovered this. The mother has become quite tame … even looking in at us when she thinks it’s about time we fed them.

Dear Lord thankyou for helping our dear Friend Kaylynn with all her trials in life and that she is such a wonderful example of faith and by her courage of sharing here she is helping so many people.Please guide the process of money to be divided fairly that Kaylynn can purchase a home of her own for security and peace of mind. Lord please bless Kaylynn and help her and Gideon as she adjusts to all these changes including her medications changed and weaned.Lord please keep her safe always and continue to grant her strength and good health. We pray also for Larry for his readjustment to this new phase of life and for them both.Please Lord bless our dear friend Kaylynn always.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

squirrel story. Reg, enjoyed the picture!! The little devil comes last night, but I had
PLENTY of feed out. Did not want to be burglarized again! Gideon comes home to-
night; all bets are off when he catches wind of him! Oh, well, I need a little levity in
my life right now. Maybe Francis of Assisi sent the little varmint! Prayers for all of

Kaylynn, I’m sure Raccoons are cute with their masked faces and furry bodies but they can wreck your garden, yard, and house. If you are renting your house be sure to tell your landlord or call an exterminator.

just telling a parishioner about all of you and how wonderful it is to have friends
on line. I am remembring all of you in night prayers. I picked my dog up this
eve. after Mass. It can be very painful when I get to my old house and see my
former things. Notwithstanding the pain of facing Larry again. I want to so much to
circumvent this thing. Wow, it is a very difficult process… . slow too

I love to feed the birds, one of my passions. I have a possum that visits nightly I catch a glimpse of him occasionally. However someone is taking my peanut feeder down at least once a week and I have to search the woods for it.

lukegabello; tradcath convert and teese: enjoyed seeing you on my thread…I especially
appreciated your story about wildlife, teese. I find it so relaxing to watch the cardinals
swoop in. I don’t even mind their chirping early, early in the morning and waking me
up. I find it soothing. Got some information from my lawyer today that was a bit
disappointing. He had made a 60K miscalculation, and I actually am entitled to much
less than the previous amount of Larry’s 401K. I started on a crying jag, and then said: you know what? if the Lord wants me to have less, then I have less. Maybe the house purchase will be put on indefinite hold. I still have a roof over my head for me and my dog, and they’re is food in the frig. Praise God from whom all blessings flow - -I will
leave the decision in His hands.

Vim71: I woke to your prayer (one of my favorites) the Memorare. Still thinking about
yesterday’s news. I am just going to live out this year like I planned and focus on it.
The future will play out without my worry. Look at the wildlife: the birds in the air still
get their birdseed from caring humans. Better still, a caring God takes care millions
and millions of human beings throughout the world every day. He has led me for one
full year with tender love and mercy; why would he leave me now?
