To everyone, Any mans death by violence lessens us as men. Wether it is Tiller or the 60,000 little one he killed. However that said, I believe you reap what you sow. The people that call Tiller a saint and vote for prochoice candidates have blood on their hands and should not call themselves christian. These are my views and I will support them in my prayers, my life, and my voting. His will be done. Garland

All I can say is, I’m happy that the death clinic is closing. 😃
Amazing no one to take his place, must be afraid of dying before their time. :hmmm:
No one should be killed before their time, looks like they can give it but can’t take it . :doh2:
I always pray for the holy souls in purgatory Destination heaven :heaven:

** Re: Abortion Doctor Geroge Tiller Murdered this morning
You must either support the killing of all humans or none at all.**

Not everyone is pro-choice and not everyone is hiding. As predicted, the pro-life movement was quickly blamed and referred to as insane violent hypocrites. As well as other unfair derogitory remarks. This is because there are some in pro-life that are not only happy about a man that was murdered, they are advertising their glee and inferring that there is more where that came from. What do you expect? Sounds nuts to me.

I wouldn’t get too happy, because this has now gone way off the scale and has nothing to do with saving life. Now you are inviting a shooting gallery. The truth: Everyone that inferred, suggested, implied in a gentle way that Tiller should be killed, has his blood on their hands. That is also the all or none approach. No mandate from God is going to skirt you through this one.😦

I doubt any Christian is happy about his death, nor that of the little angels that were killed. :console:

This is a truly offensive comparison. That anyone could make such a comparison is appalling.

"Comparing Abortionist’s Murder to MLK’s Assassination ‘Offensive Beyond Belief,’ Dr. King’s Niece Says

(CNSNews.com) – The niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Tuesday condemned the remarks of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart in comparing the recent murder of abortionist George Tiller to King’s assassination.

“This is the equivalent of Martin Luther King being assassinated,” the Washington Times quoted Carhart as saying. “This is the equivalent of Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Lusitania and any other major historic event where we’ve tolerated the intolerable for too long.”

“For LeRoy Carhart to mention the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who worked through peaceful and non-violent means, in the same breath with that of George Tiller, whose work ended peace and brought violence to babies in the womb, is offensive beyond belief,” Dr. Alveda King, pastoral associate of Priests for Life, said in a statement. “The analogy is just wrong.”…

this isnt suprising. the darkness hates good, and calls evil good. unfortunately we will here more praise and less critisim because that is what the media wants. now if someone had compared tiller getting shot to an assanation of hitler all we would hear about is how wrong it was to say that.

the media is biased, abortion is evil, and we have to fight it.

I agree completely. I’ve posted the verses and comments below on another thread regarding Obama, but they apply to Tiller as well.

SwizzleStick:
"They make night into day, saying, ‘The light is near,’ in the presence of darkness.”
Job 17:12

“He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.“
Proverbs 17:15

“The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! “
Matthew 6:22-23

"The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness. “
Luke 11:34-35

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20

Abortion is one of the greatest evils of all time, yet many see it as good and necessary, thus these verses apply. No matter how ethical and moral a man one wants to believe Obama is, Obama supports abortion on demand. He supports letting an infant who survived an abortion attempt just die. These stands cannot be ignored. It speaks about his morality. But, I guess many are willing to overlook that fact. I am not, nor are many others who choose to open their eyes and minds to the Truth.

Pray for Obama. Pray for yourselves and your children. Pray for America. Pray for the world.

“He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.“
Proverbs 17:15

that is a very good one. i think it is aptly applied to those who help abortion with theeir votes, actions, and inactions then claim they justified it by the other things that were accomplished and that abortion was just an unwanted side effect.

we live in sad times. and are truly in a spiritual war. the old saying goes “the greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he didnt exist” well i think the rampant scourge of abortion is a close second.

Better than shutting them down, they could be converted into proper health walk-in clinics for people that have no health insurance or low income. This way the records keeper and appointment makers can keep their jobs. There’s no sense in increasing the nation’s all time high unemployment rate. Only now they’ll make appointments and keep records to help people instead of harming them. Just remove the abortionist doctors, and replace them with real physicians who took the oath of “do your patients no harm”. Many people went to medical school to become doctors, doctor’s assistants, and nurses. Let’s give them a chance to put what they’ve learned into practice and serve our communities.
You kidding !?

The place is haunted. I can hear the crying of those babies already!:frighten:

When I was listening to Barbara McGuigan on the Open Line show this morning a caller called in to say that Tiller’s family has decided to SHUT DOWN**** the abortion mill! Barbara said the Holy Spirit must have heard all the prayers of those who prayed in front of Tiller’s mill. Horray!
It’s always great news when a place of butchering of babies is shut down!
IT’s a shame that another person had to die first, though…

I seriously doubt this murder or any other acts of violence will ever result in the closing of abortion clinics. One may close, while two more open, their operators either under the delusion that they are performing a great service or simply cold.

The only way that abortions will decrease is to continue to contradict the image of abortion portrayed by major news outlets, continue to offer love to those who are confused enough to consider abortion, and to challange the reasoning of abortionists. This is especially true for abortions that occur after viability of the fetus, when they are never medically justified.

Interestingly, abortion is always portrayed as a religous issue, when it isn’t a stricly religous issue. It is a human rights issue. We need to have voices willing to say that in the mainstream media.

Another interesting fact, abortion defies logic and reason. Unlike debates over the merits of faith versus science, the pro-life position is supported competely by medical facts and science. We need to state this more often, and illustrate how illogical it is to give a mother who wants her baby ultrasound pictures as early as the first trimester while obfusucating the signifcance of those pictures for women who want abortions.

I believe that showing women that they will be accepted, loved, and helped through their pregnancies will prevent many abortions. I have read statistics that as many as 80% of women who sought abortions did so primarily because they were pressured to have an abortion by the father or their parents. And for those who seek third-trimester abortions, they need to hear from parents who had a child with a terminal illness or disability, and they need to know that for those parents it was infinitely more healing to them to give birth than to take the lives of their babies.

An excellent post. Abortion is a human rights issue.
The only issue I would take with your analysis is that women do indeed understand that abortion is taking a life. Ultrasounds, graphic images of abortion don’t mean anything when the person is committed to do something that is endorsed by law.

I am not kidding! Did you hear the crying of those babies before Dr. Tiller was killed? Jesus died so that we may live. Through his death and resurrection we are saved. The most evil of all persecutors Saul became Paul the apostle. Ancient Rome, the biggest cornerstone of pagan beliefs, christian persecution and horrible executions is now the central headquarters of the only church established by Jesus, The Catholic Church. God has many times conquered evil with good, right where evil was. Not somewhere else. So now, are you kidding !?

Plus many of the woman are not making the decision unassisted. Parents, husbands and boy friends are putting pressure on her to “get rid of it.”

Correct all those that convinced demanded e.t.c are responsible, for the murder of that child God knows all things and all thoughts, all are guilty.
My mum many years ago looked after a little girl, her mother asked my mum could she leave her there all night, because she found out she’s pregnant and had booked herself in for an abortion. My mum tried so hard to convince her that this child is a gift from God.
The women said to my mum you’re kidding me, a gift, I don’t think so I’m not taking anytime off work its bad enough I have to take one day off plus the overtime I will miss out on.
Approx one week later her husband came to pick up his daughter and he was visibly shaken mum asked if he was alright, he replied no I had a big fright I was driving and all of a sudden a little boy ran across the road I slammed on the brakes and this boy just stood there looking at me. I got out of the car and tried to find the adult responsible for this child I wanted to tell them you should be protecting and watching your child he could have been killed. I couldn’t find anybody that was responsible for the life of this child. I went over to the child and he had just disappeared.
I was only 9 years old when this happened @ 9 my first thought was, could it have been that baby a little older appearing to him.
I’m 45 years old now and I still remember this story. Funny how I have grown up and have dismissed it as a spooky story, but then again I will never know, if it really was that child

:crying:😦

What a sad story.

Absolutely! In my 5 years of counseling at a CPC I never counseled a woman who was not being pressured by a boyfriend, parent, freinds, spouse, etc to have the abortion. the peer pressure in high schools to abort the child is enormous-women who place thier child for adoption are considered sluts who abandoned their child, women who aborted were brave women excercising their right of “choice”

The Church does a much better job than secular society at avoiding this, but we need to continue to be outspoken advocates of birth who do not condemn the pregnant women.

All one has to do is look at the way that Bristol Palin and other girls are treated by so-called “liberals” in the media, and you can see that there is no lack of judgement on the character, intelligence, and worthiness of these girls, which is quite ironic. There is no *moral judgement *of behavior from such people, but instead personal judgement and condemnation. Moral judgement can be delivered gently, as a guide, with compassion and love for the person and affirmation of the girl’s very healthy decision to give birth to her baby whether she parents that baby or does not parent the baby.

For teens i always promoted adoption. You have to watch the terminology you use. You never say “give your child up for adoption” as that plays into comments of their peers-its always “place you child for adoption”. I never approached them from the standpoint that this was what was “best” for their baby as that implied they were somehow deficient . I always talked about how God has a plan for all of us and in most cases his plan was for a husband and wife with chidren, in short a “family”-I the told her she had a marvelous opportunity to help complete Gods plan for a couple who were unable to have children. It worked about 50% of the time.

Those who wouldnt place their child for adoption would either abort (usuallly under intnense pressure from their parents) or have the child which usually then ended up being raised by their parents.

I know I am getting way off topic here but I wanted to share a story that still gives me goosebumps. I was counseling a 20 something woman who was bound and determined to abort her child. There was nothing I could say that would disuade her-I made an excuse about getting a brochure and told her i would be be back in a minute or so. I walked into the staff room and found the entire staff of the CPC sitting in a circle, hodling hands and fervently praying for me and the young lady i was counseling. I walked back into the room and talked to the young lady for about another 30 minutes and found myslef saying things that could only be coming from the Spirit. It was like someone else was talking using my mouth. I do not know if she had an abortion or not but i do know she ended up hearing exactly what God wanted her to hear.
