Adoption can be the right choice for some people, but I have a real problem with promoting it as the right choice for all teens. I am especially offended when people suggest it is the only correct option because I married and had my oldest child (now an adult) at 18.

There is research and personal experiences that suggest that if a teen mother does not want to give up her child, she should not be pressured to do it. There are some websites- I will not post them, you can find them yourself if interested- that recount life long wounding and hostility from BOTH adopted children who felt abandoned and mothers who lost children they wanted to parent. They make the point that if a mother wants to care for her child then adoption is a permanent solution to a temporary problem (finances).

Agreed-they should not be pressured . Women very rarely choose abortion without being pressured-and women who have abortions almost always come to regret it.

You must either support the killing of all humans or none at all.**

Not everyone is pro-choice and not everyone is hiding. As predicted, the pro-life movement was quickly blamed and referred to as insane violent hypocrites. As well as other unfair derogitory remarks. This is because there are some in pro-life that are not only happy about a man that was murdered, they are advertising their glee and inferring that there is more where that came from. What do you expect? Sounds nuts to me.

I wouldn’t get too happy, because this has now gone way off the scale and has nothing to do with saving life. Now you are inviting a shooting gallery. The truth: Everyone that inferred, suggested, implied in a gentle way that Tiller should be killed, has his blood on their hands. That is also the all or none approach. No mandate from God is going to skirt you through this one.😦
I think you misunderstood my post. I didn’t say everyone was pro-choice. I challenged everyone who is pro-choice to defend their position. There’s a big difference between the two. I also posted much earlier on, the killing of Dr Tiller must not be condoned or supported in any way. Please use normal reading speed when reading a post. It will help minimize posting an misinformed comment.

I do think that some good may come out of the fact that Tiller is not here. His clinic is closed. While more may open, it is likely that one baby at least was saved. God can write strait with bad lines. I do feel that Tiller’s killing was a very bad thing and don’t support violence against abotion doctors.
