I think he should get the death penalty. I really don’t like the death penalty, and a part of me really wishes it wasn’t legal. But this man is just so horrifically evil if anyone deserves it, he does. People like him make me wish God wasn’t so merciful. I know it’s wrong but a part of me hopes he doesn’t repent his evil sins before he dies.
Yes. I have been following this trial very closely so I didn’t expect to learn much new information. However I did. I think the direct testimony from some of the former patients and also former clinic workers was much more compelling than just reading transcripts or reports.
Gosnell did do horrible but society too is to blame for this ill, sorry to say.
I had every intention of watching but the Holy Spirit gave me amnesia and by the time I remembered, it was over. It’s going to be shown again at 9 EST (I think) on Sunday, so I’ll try again.
It is amazing that this canard is trotted out still. It would be like saying that if you are not black you would be unwelcome at a Civil Rights demonstration. I would bet money both of these women have Obama 2012 and that “Co-exist” bumper sticker made out of religious symbols. They consider themselves enlightened and tolerant. They would be horrified about bigotry or violations of civil rights if it were gays or Muslims or women. But it’s fine to have this attitude when it comes to the rights of unborn babies. As several have noted, abortion has become a sacrament to the Left.
The other canard is the mantra"abortion should be safe,legal and rare" Gee,wasn’t that the whole point for legalizing abortion,to protect women from the very acts that were done on Gosnell’s house of horrors? Again,I hope and pray we have reached the tipping point with regards to abortion.That the public outrage and sadness will effect the beginning of conversion of hearts and souls. Also,not happy to see the complicit nature of the Republicans,namely Tom Ridge,who chose to look theother way.

Survey was done of 1800 practicing OB GYNS and 97% said they had come across a woman who wanted an abortion but only 14% of the ob gyns said they would give them an abortion. You can only assume that the percentage of ob guns wanting to provide abortion will decrease further in the future given the pro life direction of the country.

Murder decisions must be unanimous. While you and I and probably most of us on CAF don’t think there is much doubt that the babies were born alive and then killed, juries have become so accustomed to the kind of clear and convincing physical evidence as seen on CSI or NCIS that they interpret beyond a REASONABLE doubt, to beyond ANY doubt. Thus Casey Anthony gets off… With respect to one of the cases thrown out by the judge, the ME said he could not say FOR SURE that the baby was born alive…as it had been too much time since the death. Much of the evidence was difficult to interpret. The babies bodies, frozen had to be carefully thawed and the ME noted that this made autopsy difficult. The defense clearly scored points on the “reasonable doubt” issue but the ME said there would be no other reason to snip the neck of the baby.
