Abortion Doctor's Murder Trial Opens

Former Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell has been found guilty on three of four counts of first-degree murder involving the deaths of four babies.

He was also found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the overdose death of former patient Karnamaya Mongar.

Gosnell will now face the death penalty in the sentencing phase.

The jury of seven women and five men weighed a total of 263 crimes against Gosnell with the most serious being four counts of first-degree murder.

The courtroom was locked down and reporters told to turn off all electronic devices as the jury read the verdict aloud. The jury read a verdict for each count before it was communicated with the public.
 
Watched the result live on Fox news. Judge Napolitano asked a very profound question the world needs to question: ‘How can it be moral and lawful for a person to kill a baby inside the womb, and have it not be illegal outside of the womb?’
 
It’s interesting that the news outlets have only reported the murder and manslaughter convictions but no info on the other felonies ( there were 24 total IIRC) and the 200+ other charges.

I know when I was watching Fox News a few minutes ago they had their editor, that was in the courtroom during the trial and the verdicts, on air so clearly the courtroom is no longer locked. They know the outcome of all the charges. So tell us all of it!

This has always been the ultimate question. Although other late term abortionists don’t use the snipping technique, to kill a baby with digoxin and then let the body “soften like meat in a crockpot” (“Dr” Carhart) whereafter it’s pulled out piece by piece, cannot be any less cruel.

I hope and pray this case becomes the catalyst for legislation to stop these evil practices. In the meantime, pray for Ireland! They are planning to open up abortion and provide NO CONSCIOUS CLAUSE for providers or hospitals. How could they not learn from what happens here?

It was like what one of the Fox Reporters was saying who was covering it, blonde, not Megan but the reporter said the Vet had to put her dog down, he was euthanized. Here, these babies were just killed. Unbelievable.

Gosnell is 72 years old I believe. Not sure if there would be people out to get him that much in prison like someone notorious like Dahmer was.

However, I feel now is a time to be prayerful, as far as Obama goes, I’m sorry, Drudge and other places are asking if he cried this morning. But I would not rule out “divine providence” in some of the events we are seeing in the news today.

A long time ago in LA TV was Roy Bream, I was a kid; he was a commentator, I think he was Conservative but I’m not positive.

But she went further in her statement and blasted pro-lifers and their efforts to limit abortions and put restrictions on late-term abortions in place. She also placed the blame for the Gosnell horrors on pro-life advocates.

She said earlier this month: “[W]e were the first out of the gate to call attention to this case. And you know why?… It’s because unfortunately as the anti-choicers try and restrict more and more doctors out of business, they are the ones keeping the Kermit Gosnells operating.”

They will use any means possible to try and deflect the truth of what abortion is. They rightfully realize that this case has forced some people to see what they would prefer to ignore. That abortion kills babies.
