I think this is why so many people—many of whom have spent the month since the Newtown shooting browbeating anyone who disagrees with them on gun control about how precious and vulnerable children are—pass over the Gosnell story: they can’t accept the consequence of seeing that they have approved the killing of so many children.

I won’t hold much hope - as many awards as our local NBC affiliate has won, they give a depressing amount of airtime to sports and weather, and only four to seven minutes to national, one to two to world news.

GOOD GRIEF!!! I couldn’t stomach the first story. There was exactly ZERO concern about the babies whose heads were nearly cut off, whose body parts were stored in catfood containers, in milk jugs, who flailed around after being born, one “screaming like an alien…”ABOUT TIME! CNN’s Anderson Cooper also has a bit, with the angle being the lack of state oversight. I’ll accept that angle - they’re never going to do a story on why abortion is awful, but rather on unsafe conditions for women’s health care:

The cat is finally out of the bag. A blogger for the liberal Huffington Post has finally admitted that liberal mainstream media outlets made a conscious decision to ignore the Kermit Gosnell abortion-murder trial.
In a HuffPost Live segment today on the issue, host Marc Lamont Hill admitted what many pro-life advocates have been thinking:
“For what it’s worth, I do think that those of us on the left have made a decision not to cover this trial because we worry that it’ll compromise abortion rights. Whether you agree with abortion or not, I do think there’s a direct connection between the media’s failure to cover this and our own political commitments on the left. I think it’s a bad idea, I think it’s dangerous, but I think that’s the way it is.”
Anyone going to jump on the Huffington Post as is usual here?
Don’t you think the Huffington post deserved to be criticized? I knew that the mainstream media did not want to cover this story because as is known, the majority of journalists are liberal and more likely to have pro abortion views and thus not want to cover a story which shines a negative light on abortion.
