That’s why I stopped debating in this thread. There’s no use if someone keeps saying they don’t understand what you’re talking about. If someone can’t see the difference between a vile nasty rapist and a young confused teen getting an abortion then there’s no use in debating. And I won’t.

But there is a difference, but civil authorities will still punish him.
 
Why is it necessary to call abortion genocide? Does that make it worse than it already was?
In a sense, it is calling it out for what it is. Genocide, by precise definition, is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, usually all of them having something in common. In the case of abortion, all direct victims are the unborn.
 
That is not a genetically defined class, and so it is not genocide. The thing they have in common has nothing to do with their ancestry.

It’s true that genocide usually refers to the mass slaughter of a genetically defined class, but note that the definition includes the word “especially,” which implies that there can be some instances of genocide that are not focused on those of a particular ethnic group or nation.
