Ok, very good. Can a Muslim in an Islamic country, have the liberty and is free to learn Catholicism, without any reprisals from Muslim clerics or governing authorities? Or is viewing Catholicism done in privacy?I know of one such place… it is called the Catholic Answers Forums

I glanced at the thread, and I do not understand what the 10,000s of saints has to do with Muhammed. Do you think there’s going to be 9,999 more Muhammeds? The Bible does not only prophesy about the coming of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), both the Old and New Testaments also tell of the coming of "ten thousands of saints" of which I have once dedicated a whole thread to explaining who they were.
You are greatly mistaken and have been misinformed about Catholicism. Our posture before the Lord is held in great esteem and practice both standing before the Lord, bowing, genuflecting and Kneeling. The reason we do so is because God himself is present before us; Here are the scriptures that Catholics practice.QUOTE=hamba2han;6903714]I do not quite understand why anyone should feel offended or hurt by my suggestion that Christians should prostrate to the Lord on a regular basis and not to do this only on special days in a year.

Your post cracked me up so much…And here is where the thread becomes what Hamba turns them all into:

I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. … (Psalm 138:2)… Question? Catholics kneel before the True Presence of God, How does the Muslim identify kneeling before the True presence of God? Are Muslims kneeling before a book? a building? a city? Can you explain why a Muslim kneels before such material things? How does God reveal himself to a Muslim? so as to bow before Him?..
Better question: Why does it MATTER how we pray? Does it matter whether or not we’re prostrated, standing out in the rain getting soaked or lying caked in mud? We’re not perfect, and a particular posture or cleanliness won’t make us perfect or more pleasing to God (except cleanliness of the spiritual variety, perhaps). God doesn’t give a rip whether or not my face is dirty or if I’ve just been ripped to shreds by shrapnel or if I’m clean enough to pass the white-glove test. All that matters is that we humble ourselves before God in prayer, admit that He is the Almighty, our Father, Lord and Creator, that He has all the power, and we exist to serve and love Him. Heck, I think He’d be glad that we bothered to talk with Him at all, whether it’s bringing needs before Him or letting Him do the talking. As long as we take some time to be with Him, I think He would be happy with us.I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. … (Psalm 138:2)
I can of course quote verses from the Bible but the real reason why Muslims pray the way we do is because the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “Pray as you have seen me praying”.
Question is: Why do Christians pray the way they do?
Do Christians even know the name of the first person in Christian history to cross himself when praying?

Why quote something from the Bible when it’s been said over and over and over by muslims, NOT just here on CAF, but everywhere on the internet that the Bible is corrupted.Do Christians even know the name of the first person in Christian history to cross himself when praying?

Matthew 7:15-23Why did Jesus never mention the coming of the prophet Mohammed, after all he did fortell many things that would come to pass![]()
There actually IS a prophecy about Muhammed. Here it is:I glanced at the thread, and I do not understand what the 10,000s of saints has to do with Muhammed. Do you think there’s going to be 9,999 more Muhammeds?
But I think we’re all getting off topic.
What I asked was this: If Muslims do not believe the New Testament is the word of God, why search for prophecies about Muhammed in there?
I do not quite understand why anyone should feel offended or hurt by my suggestion that Christians should prostrate to the Lord on a regular basis and not to do this only on special days in a year.
After all, willingness to prostrate to the Lord is a sign of utmost devotion and hence Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and his disciples as well as all of the Biblical Prophets (peace be upon them all) who came before him did indeed regularly prostrate to the Lord when they prayed.
Genesis 17:3 "And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,"
Genesis 17:17 "Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?"
Exodus 34:8 "And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped."
Numbers 16:20-22 "And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?"
Joshua 5:14 "And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?"
Ezekiel 9:8 "And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?"
2 Chronicles 20:18 "And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD."
Ezekiel 11:13 "And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?"
Matthew 17:6 "And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid."
Matthew 26:39 "And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."

I would suggest that such prostration to the Lord in prayer be done regularly in the privacy of your home, preferably in the direction of Jerusalem if you like and I would also suggest that you do this immediately after you have taken your bath.
Also, I would like to add that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) i.e. the “ten thousands of saints” who were prophesied in both the Old and the New Testaments, are the reason why Muslims have absolutely no doubts at all regarding the authenticity of the Qur’an and also the accuracy of the Sunnah since it was through their painstaking efforts that the Qur’an that we have today has been preserved 100% pure and unedited since the time it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
(John 4:23-24):Question is: Why do Christians pray the way they do?

I have seen the photo and I have to say that lying on one’s stomach does not at all fit the description in the Bible of “falling on one’s face” which is how the Biblical Prophets (peace be upon them all) prostrated to their Lord.
He did warn us about false prophets…did he not?Why did Jesus never mention the coming of the prophet Mohammed, after all he did fortell many things that would come to pass![]()
Is this the way muhammad would pray before or after he had relations with his nine year old wife? I just read an article about some muslims in England attacking the True Religion of God, i.e. the Catholic Church, for its rampant pedophilia. Granted that is a terrible sin, but at least our religion was not founded by a pedophile. Once a muslim can explain to me how that, and most of the other things the “prophet” did isn’t immoral I will take your group seriously.I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. … (Psalm 138:2)
