Perhaps it would be better to encourage her to talk to a priest (one from another parish if necessary) rather than you talking for her.Thank you again for the responses. I do not feel comfortable saying much further about the situation, as I am bound by confidentiality. That is also a big reason I have not been in “face to face” communication with a priest. But I will say that there are many people trying to help her.

Are there any lawyers around here who know a delicate way of saying, “I need to talk to my priest about your situation because I can agree to represent you in a divorce action.” ???
