to cover an organization like the CC
I don’t think they’re going that way. To many reasons against, and it would be diplomatically inadmissible.
Hope you’re right!

Regarding the 1882 Homestead Strike:
“One of the strike’s consequences was that the steel mills shifted from an eight hour to a 12-hour a day, six-day work week, with a 24-hour shift (followed by a day off), every two weeks. It would be some 44 years before the steel industry would again be unionized.”
Digital History
Our God is a God of order.

And I really love being catholic for every single reason. Every time I consider my relations with the State I’ll obey to order, nothing can move me against it. Even Our Lord Jesus before being flailed said Pilates power was given to him by God. [Although there have been historical contexts were disobedience was the way go -I hope never to find myself in that situation- Our Lady of Fátima told the seers that a religious procession should be held in her honor at a time the government had forbidden religious processions.]

The Federal Government is making a show of doing something for political reasons.
They’re not going to be prosecuting any Church officials under RICO, especially not under Trump.
By the time they get around to wrapping up their business, most of the guys they would prosecute will be dead anyway if they aren’t already.

Just more politics. The Church will hire some great lawyers and unless somebody committed a truly egregious wrong a la McCarrick, it will be a lot of hot air to appease the public.
