It was a documtn produced by an ecumenical council and that it all I know.Is that position an article of faith?
It is not a sin to realize that allah is not the God of Israel. I hear this argument time and again that someone says we are supposed to believe in islam’s god is the One True God and that is just nonsense. Is that position an article of faith?

I won’t go against the 1st Commandment - no matter who tells me to do so.

a better position would be to say they worship the one God they do not know. There was a time in ancient Egypt when they worshiped the sun god Ra. They believe him to be the one true god. Would you conclude that they worshiped the same God we do?
Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea."Perhaps a better question would be “Can anyone abuse humanity more than Mohammad did?”
I assume you are Shia?A most appropriate question would be “Has anyone in the history of humanity been abused as much as Muhammad (s)?”
But Muhammad (s) knew all of this would happen and so he said “Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain”. The religion had died and if it wasn’t for Hussain’s (as) sacrifice it would have been lost forever. The true uncorrupted Islam can only be realized by learning it from Muhammad’s (s) family, through the descendants of Hussein (as)
- He was abused by his people when he asked them to worship the One God instead of the idols.
- He was abused by many of his companions
- He was abused by some his wives who plotted against him then killed him by poison
- He was abused by his followers who killed his only daughter, his nephew, poisoned his 1st grandson and killed the 2nd, they killed his great grand children including a 6 month old boy
- He was abused by the hadith forgers who slandered him
- He was abused by the khalifs and sultans who claimed to be his representatives while spreading corruption and opression
- He is abused today by those that claim to be his followers but really follow in the footsteps of the khalifs
- He is abused by the non-muslims who paint him an evil man based on the lies of the hadith forgers.
yes i believe so. they were worshipping God as best they could at the time. our flawed understanding and perceptions of God does not alter God in any way. There was a time in ancient Egypt when they worshiped the sun god Ra. They believe him to be the one true god. Would you conclude that they worshiped the same God we do?
yes, we accept the hadiths with two caveats.I assume you are Shia?
I thought Shia accepted the Hadith?
Of course he is:WhO IS MUHAMMAD???WHERE IS HE MENTIONEnD IN THE BIBLE?
I have seen some Sunni argue that as Muhammad’s live is the perfect mannifestation of man livein in accords with Allah’s will an authentic Hadith which seems to contradict the Qur’an or strain what its meaning seems to be is actally an abbrogation or interpretation of that passage. Whould the Shia accecpt this?yes, we accept the hadiths with two caveats.
- the Hadiths must not contradict anything in the Quran.
- the narrators must be friendly to the progeny of the prophet.
Algabriel, that is very good. We are also not allowed to bow down before any man or sun or moon. We are spiritual descendents of Abraham and Abraham never bowed down in front of any idols, or star or moon or Sun…In the old Testament God also warned us several times to not bow down to the moon, sun, stars, etc.
.
- The Old Testament constantly rebuked the worship of the Moon-god
- Deut. 4:19 And when you look up to the heavens and behold the sun or the moon or any star among the heavenly hosts, do not be led astray into adoring them and serving hem. These the Lord, your God has let fall to the lot of all other nations under the heavens.
- Deut. 17:3 …by serving other gods, or by worshiping the sun or the moon or any of he host of the sky, against my command
**Here you are wrong. You have not studied the Quran. Muhammad did not get any God from some one. He used to pray to the one God only, in privacy, for a very long time, in a cave until one day, Allah spoke to him care of an angel, the arch Angel Gabriel. The angel gave Muhammad a message. After that all his life was spent in fighting the pagans. This is where Muhammad got his Allah from - the moon god of his pagan religion. He took this Allah and made it to what the Muslims worship.
** It is true that:yes, we accept the hadiths with two caveats.

- He was abused by some his wives who plotted against him then killed him by poison
What are you talking about ??? This is the first time I heard that Prophet’s (pbuh) wives killed him. LOL where did u get this info from ? huh.…
