This is a homily of Father Frank Pavone on 09-13-2011 (EWTN) on the day of some of his troubles being recalled by his bishop. It has elements that speak to many of aspects and views expressed on this thread about respect for priests, the Holy Spirit speaking through the priest in the homilies, what constitutes poor preaching, the amount of time needed to prepare a homily…notably missing is keeping it short & sweet.
