I hear you! I’m a cradle Catholic and some days I just go “hmmmm 
”. I think that one of the reasons you are feeling this way is because you want to have control. And don’t misunderstand that. Just when I think I’m in control of something, something comes along and screws it up. I am constantly having to remind myself to Let Go and Let God. And just give it to Him. Miracles are not the norm, they are the exception. They are rare, and always have been. Miracles are not something we need. If nothing miraculous happens ever again, that is OK.
Because that time has passed. The miracles of Jesus in the Bible were meant for the Jews of that time in connection with the prophesies of the Messiah. The miracles of the early Church were confirmation of the power and authority of Jesus through the Apostles. Again, meant for the Jews of that day and time for a specific purpose.
No ancient people did either. I’m not sure why this is important.
Not sure where you’ve gathered that argument from, but I don’t really think it’s a good one.
Jesus performed miracles during his ministry for a specific purpose. His Apostles and disciples did for the same reason. Through the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit, sometimes God does allow miraculous things to happen. This is rare.
It is not so that people will believe. It is not to attract unbelievers.
Yes, people certainly look for confirmation of what they believe. Those people aren’t the ones who receive miraculous signs. Jesus told us that those sorts of signs were worthless because the people who receive them still don’t believe. Blessed are they who have not seen but believe.

So basically you’re looking for information that would confirm the supernatural to you. How could you determine the difference between a superior technology over the supernatural? Everything you listed here can be performed by superior technologically advanced culture. How would you be able to distinguish between the two?
Free-will: if you believe in the devil, it had all the justification it needed to believe the deity existed and it’s powers and it still choose to not have a relationship with it. Knowing someone exists does not mean you are necessarily required to have a relationship with it. Relationships go both ways. The religious are implying that if a deity presented itself that they feel that they could not have a choice in worshiping this. Probably because it does not occur to them that they can be deists and still not have a relationship with it since they are wanting to appease the genie in the room to solve their fear of death and living in a bad environment issues. But I could be wrong here. However, it is not in the bone for me to worship anyone or anything. I find the idea of worship repugnant. Relationships, every day, have to be earned through our constant maintenance of the relationship. It is not to be granted just because of your power or title. Heaven comes across to me as a celestial north korea, so I’d be fine not going there.
