Age difference

OP, my hubby is 12 years my senior. When we married, I was 26 and he was 38. He had never been married before, either. He had just never found the right girl - till me, that is

Anyway, we were very good friends at first, and then our relationship blossomed in a way similar to yours. One day we realized our friendship was more than platonic. Also, he was not “my type” and although he wasn’t unattractive, he wasn’t what I always thought of as “hot” if you know what I mean! But it DOESN’T MATTER!

We’ve been married for 3.5 years, together for almost 7 altogether. He is the most handsome, sexiest man to me because I love him so deeply and purely it’s easy to see that. We still have an awesome friendship, btw.

I think I’d want to stay within 5 years or so. No explicit reason why. I’ve never been in any kind of relationship, but I don’t think I’d be comfortable with more than a 5 year difference.
