According to your saviour and founder, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (self-proclaimed Mujaddid, Messiah and Mahdi) he first speculated in 1891 Jesus was buried in Galilee. Then in 1894, he changed his mind and claimed Jesus was buried in Syria and again in 1902, he proclaimed indefinitely Jesus was buried in Srinagar, Kashmir. Wouldn’t a ‘Messiah’ know the wereabouts of the One before him? What’s up with all the guessing?

How do you also explain the other myths of Jesus buried in Glastonbury, Scotland, Opoul-Perillos, France, Aomori, Japan, or the recent claim that Jesus was buried in Talpiot, Israel? Don’t just give us rhetorical answers from Ahmadiyya sources please. We want peer-reviewed articles to back up your claims, since you are so confident of yourselves.

Well, I cannot speak for Ahmadis as I am not one 😃

I’m a Baha’i and quite honestly, the location of Christ’s burial is not very significant to me. “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.” John 6:62

However, according to bahai-library.com/uhj/resurrection.html “Pilgrims have recorded in their notes oral statements made by 'Abdu’l-Baha and Shoghi Effendi to the effect that the disciples hid the body of Christ by burying it under the wall of Jerusalem, and that it is now under the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The House of Justice (the infallible head of the Baha’i Faith) knows of nothing in the Writings of the Faith, however, explicitly confirming these statements.”

Of course there is no peer reviewed anything attesting to this. Also unknown are the burial locations of Moses, Abraham, Zoroaster, the Buddha and Krishna :o

I thank you for your (name removed by moderator)ut, abirdrrl. I think the Ahmadi’s shy away from such topics - perhaps they are more interested in spamming the forums with “Oh Islam is so nice - look how they treated the people in the lands they invaded” threads. They believe in the universality of Islam but orthodox Muslims think they have gone too far.

This thread questions their claims and sources but so far not one Ahmadi has even attempted to provide answers.

that dude was not even sure himself and kept on making guesses

paarsurrey, planten, et all, where is the evidence? Surely your Mahdi must have known that Jesus was also buried in Japan, France and Scotland? How could he have missed that?

There are only two Ahmadi Muslim posters here that I am aware of. There might be others but at least paarsurrey and planten identify themselves as Ahmadi, I think. Ahmadis are supposed to be peaceful Islam but that makes them out of sync with mainstream Muslims, perhaps because the latter may not be so peaceful after all. In any case, planten seems to lose his peacefulness when challenged on his faith. So be careful when you ask question like the one on this thread. I hate to see peaceful Muslims losing their cool.

Everyone and anyone would lose their cool when challenged periodically. I can accept that human emotion. What i cannot accept is that the Ahmadi’s are spamming the forums with threads that sell Islam, but do not reply to threads like this.

How can they expect to win over people when they cannot even answer a simple question?

Hi

I think they (Glastonbury, Scotland, Opoul-Perillos, France, Aomori, Japan, or the recent claim that Jesus was buried in Talpiot, Israel?) all want to emphasise that Jesus did not die on Cross but died naturally and peacefully as everyone dies; there is nothing special with Jesus.

Jesus was only a Jew and a subordinate Messenger Prophet of God Allah to the House of Israel. Please don’t mind; it is the Catholics who shy away and hide everything ultimately in a mystery, that reflects they lack any worthwhile proof, in my opinion.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks

No buddy, the OP does not want that but want to know where Jesus was buried. You said Jesus did not die on the cross but migrate to India. The OP’s question is therefore where was he buried because you guys seem to know about this. I would want to add - when was he buried?

Your answer was not convincing at all. The reputed sites are proof of known myths - including the one claimed by your self-proclaimed Mahdi (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad). All must be correct or all must be false. Jesus cannot possibly have died and buried all around the world. You as i know that is a ridiculous thought. Now if you wish to say Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was correct, where is his proof and how does the Ahmadiyya movement explain all the known burial sites? I reiterate, please do not quote from Ahmadiyya propaganda as i view them as weak arguements. I prefer peer-reviewed articles to back up your claims.

The OP is questioning how come your ProphetMessenger changed his mind about the location of the tomb. Forget about Jesus and Christianity. We are discussing about Ahmadiyaa now.

Thank you both, swariffin and Reuben J.

And to answer to your previous question in the Islam/Satan connection thread swariffin, yes i do have epilepsy (F.L.E) and i also suffer from a disc herniation from a work-related accident. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. 🙂

I am sorry to listen that, brother. Please remember that Jesus has promised you the Holy Spirit who now is within you. I am sure that you believe that.

Now, let us get back to the topic. 🙂 I wonder if paarsurrey will come prepared this time?

Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the Antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.

My dear friend!

Liar is an English word; kindly look its meaning in the English dictionary; I quote from Wiktionary:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lie
A person who tells lies.

A lie (also called prevarication), is a type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement, especially with the intention to deceive others, often with the further intention to maintain a secret or reputation, protect someone’s feelings or to avoid a punishment. To lie is to state something that one knows to be false or that one has not reasonably ascertained to be true with the intention that it be taken for the truth by oneself or someone else. A liar is a person who is lying, who has previously lied, or who tends by nature to lie repeatedly.

Lying is typically used to refer to deceptions in oral or written communication.[citation needed] Other forms of deception, such as disguises or forgeries, are generally not considered lies, though the underlying intent may be the same. However, even a true statement can be considered a lie if the person making that statement is doing so to deceive. In this situation, it is the intent of being untruthful rather than the truthfulness of the statement itself that is considered.

Sorry, it does not fit on me.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks

Thanks for your definition, my dear brother. But, could you answer the OP’s question please?

The Bible says that Muhammad is a Liar.
