Congratulations genius, within 15 posts you’ve managed to ruin your credibility here.

But, out of my own amusement I will respond.

Take a look at my posts, in the upper right hand corner I believe, it says that I joined somewhere around 2008, August if I’m not mistaken.

Edit: Excuse me, I was off by a couple of months. It appears I joined the forums in October, not August.

So it would be impossible to show you posts from 2001 to 2008 where I protested the TSA’s security measures.

Add to that the fact, that during the years 2001 to 2008 I spent a considerable amount of time in many airports. Richmond, VA. Tampa, FL, San Francisco, CA, Dallas, TX, Seattle, WA.

I’m not going to go out of my way and list all of them, but you get the picture.

I never once had my crotch grabbed or went through a machine that was able to tell some random government employee whether or not I was circumcised.

So I never really had much to protest about then did I? Now, if you want to ask me what I think about all government bureaucracies, including the TSA, I’d be more than happy to tell you.

So, now…will the rest of your posts be a little more charitable so I might be able to respectfully reply to your future comments or will I just have to ignore you from here on out?

And that shows the heart of the matter, doesn’t it? “Why yes, TSA, go ahead and bug the life out of that guy over there who looks middle eastern and has a funny name. Wait, what, Now you want ME to go through the same thing he did?! Outrage!”

Funny thing is there were many more characteristics about those who have tried bombing planes than just their name and looks.

You batting 0 today son, forget to eat your Wheaties this morning?

I think I’m going to go find something hard to do now.

Go ahead and ignore the fact that you just admitted earlier that civil rights don’t mean squat unless YOU are inconvenienced!

It’s called profiling; it is effective and does have its place in law enforcement when used properly.

What an odd post. I did a quick search, and the first thread about the x-Ray scanners was in 2005, and people, in general, have complained about TSA methodology and civil liberty issues since 9/11 occurred. Where were you during the Bush Administration? Living in a cave with no access to the media?

The TSA has been doing this nonsense for almost 10 years and only NOW we are hearing major protests? I’ll bet a good couple grand that the ones only protesting now will once again act like sheep for the TSA once a white person is president again

You aren’t the one being profiled, so of course it’s all fine and dandy to you
If there were white males between the ages of 20 & 45 committing terrorist acts, then I wouldn’t have a problem being profiled at airports. Your statement alone shows what is wrong with this country: we are too worried about being politically correct to do the right thing.

Timothy McVeigh, anyone?

And I bet you many of those posting now were back then yelling down the people complaining about the TSA, probably regurgitating some talk radio pro-TSA slogan like “If we get rid of radioactive scanners then the terrorists have won!”

You aren’t well. There was the same diversity of opinion as there is today. Conservatives were split over the issue. Your perceptions don’t match reality.

Didn’t like 'em back then and can’t stand them now.

How many planes did he use or try to bomb? Besides, how many domestic, anti-government terrorist have you heard blowing themselves up in the process?
The question wasn’t about planes or suicide. You asked about profiling and terrorism and I just gave you an example, plus his attack was one of the top in sheer carnage in our nations history, so now will you admit to being profiled since you fit the McVeigh model, or will we agree that visual profiling is total nonsense?

Then, the question was off-topic. The thread is about TSA procedures when screening airplane passengers. FBI uses profiling to prevent domestic terrorism, and I guarantee you that McVeigh-types are watched. I doubt that wabrams opposes such profiling.

Nonsense?

Is the government currently being bombarded with intelligence on potential white middle age male terrorists?
