Covid doesn’t particularly concern me. Our foolish reaction to it scares me though.
 
What about covid-19 doesn’t concern you?

I mean, my entire household caught it and recovered, so we are not tremendously concerned for our own sake, but we are concerned about the others who have died and will die of the virus needlessly.

It’s a darned shame that President Trump has sown so much misinformation, confusion, distrust, and disunity about the pandemic. If he had managed it wisely, many thousands more would still be alive, the economy would be strong, and he would have won the election handily.

Why should my life revolve around it? I may just as well not drive, fly, boat, swim, use power tools, eat junk food, or go outside during a thunderstorm.

None of it particularly concerns me.

No one is suggesting you “revolve your life around it.” They’re asking you to deal with the incredibly minor inconvenience of wearing a soft cloth mask while you pick up eggs and milk. It’s not a big ask.

Yes, all establishments require a mask on their premise, but I live in Washington. My siblings tell me it’s much laxer in their states. They may have the signs but they aren’t followed/enforced.

I didn’t make any claim. I’m no expert. I am not qualified to make a claim. I just stated what I thought.

We have a longstanding tradition on this forum, that banned members come back reincarnated as someone else. It happens all the time.

Your general demeanor and responses remind us of her and due to this aforementioned tradition, we jump to this conclusion.
