Thank you Kathleen.
If we are to believe that God has created all humans to draw nigh unto Him, to know Him and to love Him, one has to ask the question, what was needed in Arabia to remove idol worship from society?
It seems the love and grace of Christianity was not enough for such a vicious and degenerate group of populations in the Arabian region at the time.
Sure, God, through Muhammad didn’t go about it the way us sinful humans may think best, but the outcome was beautiful…a monotheistic civilisation was born where no one would ever have thought possible.
God’s victory is realised!
If Christ could not change that area, then it was Muhammad that was needed, and God always finds a means to draw humans back to Him.
Look at the devotion of prayer, look at the zest for fasting and worship now seen by the more noble Muslims in that region. Surely this has been a victory for God. But alas, a time comes when God needs to act again.
The Baha’i religion believes that God has acted today and the next step of drawing us nigh unto Him is revealed…
God bless you
