No, I believe if he truly loved HER, he would grieve for the wounded part of herself, and love her all the more for what she has been through.
I give the thumbs up because this is exactly what I went through with my now husband, and I decided that I do in fact love him to the point that I was grieving for his hurt and his remorse more than for my own hurt or disappointment.
I think it is so important to stress, however, that the OP absolutely has every right to not marry this woman. My humble personal opinion is that she sounds amazing. But, if he can not look past this then it is better to let go.
