So you say.
?? No
Again, in all charity, wouldn’t it be better to dialogue and say what you believe is meant when talking about mother earth. Some pagan religions do believe mother earth is a deity and that God or a god is in everything - pantheism.

I am staying on topic and dealing with a specific sentence posted by Crusader who accepted to read the Cathecism so that we could deal with it about mother earth

Okay, then I will bow out of your conversation, and that way you don’t have to tag me anymore.

God bless 🙂

I was flagged off topic so I am trying to avoid it now. Not that I dislike conversations…on the contrary 🙂
God bless you too.

That is not true. Objectively, murder is evil, not killing, as all those here who have argued the death penalty can understand.
According to you, killing isn’t evil?

I guess Our Lord was mistaken when He gave the 10 commandments.

He should have met your requirements and specified the 5th commandment as: Thou shalt not murder, objectively speaking!

I watched that today. Are Traditional Catholics prepared to do the same or similar when called upon? There is no need to seek out situations. God will place us where we need to be. Praying to be brave if called upon.

Good thing the Vatican clarified that this pagan statue was not the BVM; otherwise, they would have been prostrating and worshipping the Blessed Mother. We as Catholics do not do that! We worship the one true God alone!!!

The Catholic Church is different than fundamentalism.
So I guess Adam and Eve were fundamentalists, and should have bared themselves (Gen 3:10)?

And Sem and Japeth were also fundamentalists, when they hid covered the nakedness of their father, Noah (Gen 9:22-25)!

They are kissing the earth/ ground , land.
If you are Catholic , you will find images of Pope St John Paul II kissing the land as soon as he got off the plane . The land in different countries he visited.

LMAO. Ok… Some of them missed the ground. But these pagans do worship the ground too “mother earth.” If you research the pagan practices, this is a prostration before their idols.

We as Catholics may kiss holy ground before the Blessed Sacrament alone. Anything else done in worship is idolatry.

Worshipping/bowing down to idols is idolatry. These representations of their religious beliefs are not God and no Catholic should be prostrating themselves to them.

So true. And not just Catholics, but no one should worship idols.

Psalm 95:5 “For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils

Deuteronomy 32:16-17 “They provoked him by strange gods, and stirred him up to anger, with their abominations. They sacrificed to devils and not to God: to gods whom they knew not: that were newly come up, whom their fathers worshipped not.”

Deuteronomy 12:3 “Overthrow their altars, and break down their statues, burn their groves with fire, and break their idols in pieces
  • Read about what Elias did interacting with the prophets of Baal worshipping demons.
  • What St Paul did to the spell books in Ephasus.
  • What Pope St Gregory the Great did when he ordered idols be destoryed in the English temples.
  • What St Patrick did battling Druids and their demonic magic to the death.
  • What St Boniface did when he chopped down the pagan tree, the penalty for which there was death.
  • What St Benedict did to get rid of idols - he overthrew the idols, set fire to the woods where they worshipped trees, where the idols were formerly he erected an oratory, and built a monastery over the ashes.
This is the Christian tradition. Worshipping demons is never a good thing for anyone! Everyone needs Christ. No exceptions.

Exactly when has the Church converted any one by the sword? Please provide factual evidence this has happened.
Thanks

Neither are we.

Pilgrims who haven’t arrived anywhere . At whatever stage these visitors in the Vatican are in the process of evangelization, they are travelers also.
And if we believe we have arrived somewhere where we can sit and rest that we are done, we are wrong.
Who is worthy ? What makes us better?
