Here are the first three paragraphs from the article from CNSnews.com;

Alan Keyes Arrested While Protesting University of Notre Dame’s Obama Invitation
Friday, May 08, 2009
By Melanie Hunter-Omar

The administration building at Notre Dame University(CNSNews.com) – Conservative political activist and former presidential candidate Dr. Alan Keyes was arrested on Friday along with 21 other pro-lifers while protesting the University of Notre Dame’s decision to give President Obama an honorary law degree despite his support for abortion.

Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue, a pro-life group, said Keyes and the other protesters “walked on campus praying quietly with baby carriages that had dolls covered with stage blood as a show of protest.”

The day before, Keyes was approached during a press conference on public property by two plain clothes Notre Dame policemen and told that if he walked on campus for any reason, he would be arrested.

Interesting. The anti-abortion protester arrested, the pro-abortion advocate honored…at Our Lady School…

Interesting. More publicity and photo ops for the guy. If they call Jesse Jackson a ‘poverty pimp’ how should Keyes be described?

It would have been great if Alan Keyes had been the first African-American to be elected President instead of Obama. But too many people don’t like him because he speaks the truth on various issues.

Beau,

Ambassador Keyes should be described as someone who lives what Jesus preached, no matter what the fools say about him!

If more of your fellow Chicagoans had stood up for the Truth of Jesus Christ and voted for Mr.Keyes instead of the pro-death champion, Mr. Obama, to be their Senator, we would not be honoring someone who promotes murdering innocent babies to get votes!

(Chicago is the murder capital of the US!!! i guess it makes sense since Mr. Obama is votes 100% pro-death, how proud you must be!)

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

Just to keep the record straight… he’s the first HALF Black President. ( A White mother from Kansas, and a abandonment-minded father from Kenya.)

No, many people don’t like him because he has a history of questionable acts and certainly could be described as a publicity seeker. Just because a person agrees with his views does not mean that he would be a good president. It is certainly noteworthy to cite the fact that he has never won a contested primary, nor has he been elected to office, although he has run in numerous races.

Calling someone half-black is insulting, like the term ‘half-caste’. You never hear that applied to Franco Harris, Halle Berry, Jayson William, Derek Jeter or Roy Campanella. More to the point, the president accurately describes himself as “black”. So it is certainly unmannerly to call him something else.

Abandonment-minded father? Kind of like Levi Johnston, huh? Do you use different rules for different types of people?

No insult intended. I’m just stating an obvious fact. The individual in question has a Sub-Saharan Black African male for a father, and a Kansas White female for a mother. Hence, he’s half-Black. If it makes you feel better for me to (yet again) point out the obvious and say that’s he’s half-White, then here we go… he’s half-White.

BTW, I can’t speak for Harris, Berry, et al, but I’ve been referred to as “half-White” all my life. It doesn’t bother me in the least. Why should the obvious truth bother me?

Anyhow, your description of Levi Johnson is a abandonment-father is wholly accurate. Why do you even ask me if there are “different rules for different types of people”? I don’t seem to recall even alluding to that. Only in your mind is that happening.

You seem to have trouble focusing on the question at hand, and are making an attempt to make this personal.

If that is your aim, know that I will not stand for such and will contact the moderators.

Have a nice day.

Now, lemme see: I comment directly as to your post and you say I am going off topic?

Yes Beau, your none-too-subtle insinuation that I have two sets of standards, and that I have made “insulting” (bigoted) comments are examples of you going off topic and attempting to make this personal. Your continued obstinancy is further proof.

Quite honestly, I simply don’t have to put up with behavior as such. If me pointing out the obvious bothers you that much, then I’m not the one with the problem.

Know that I’ve contacted the moderators.

Have a happy day.

I call myself half Puerto Rican and Half White, or bi-racial. I don’t call myself only Puerto Rican, b/c that would deny my heritage from my caucasion father. I don’t call myself white b/c that would deny my heritage from my Puerto Rican mother.

President Obama is not black, he is bi-racial.

I guess we’re just a couple of All-American Mutts!! (I’m Pacific Islander on my mom’s side)

I have so many different things in me I am just a plain mutt.

There must be some kind of pattern. A few years back, at Our Lady of Loretto HS (all girls) in Sacramento, the prolife student whose mom exposed the presence of an abortion clinic “deathscort” on the teaching staff of the school was expelled. Apparently these schools have no concern about the kind of message going to the students. Can you really blame Pelosi for thinking the Catholic Church is pro-abortion?
