One of the weird things about AI is sometimes the 2nd place person does better than the winner.

Clay did well and Diana Degarmo is in a broadway play…
 
Don’t you think Taylor (the guy with the gray hair) has some resemblance to George Clooney? 😉

So far I thought Paris has a wonderful voice.:bowdown2:

I hope this thread will keep me informed about who gets out each week because Lent is approaching and I don’t watch TV during Lent…:nope:

And Jennifer Hudson (from a couple of seasons ago) will be in the movie “Dreamgirls” with Beyonce and Jaime Foxx. 👍

I agree. This season’s quite boring, IMHO. But perhaps I’ve just grown tired of watching American Idol after the first four seasons? 😛

Season 3 was my favorite b/c most of my favorite contestants were from that season, even though none of them won. 😛
 
Taylor Hicks or Paris Bennent, hands down.
But I do like that sweet little Kelly Pickler’s personality.
 
Are any of you as bored as I am with the fighting between Simon & Paula? I think it’s a great big act… and not a very convincing one at that. :rolleyes:

I think AI could do with an entire new staff.
Maybe there should be a contest for new judges. 👍

Paula ---- Honey, you look so good, and you tried and did your thing, good for you.

Simon ---- That was absolutly dreadful. Horrible.

Paula ----- Shut up!

Yeah, Paula gets on my nerves a little cuz she is rarely honest. And they are all a bit predictable. But I always seem to agree with Simon.

:rotfl: That is pretty much how it goes. And yes, I agree with Simon also. I think Paula probably does also but she’s been told to play “good guy.”

I can handle what they say to the contestants most of the time…but their interaction with each other gets on my nerves :eek:

If I were Simon I would especially want a new female judge or at least have someone ask Paula to take it down a notch :rolleyes:
 
Paula is just too temperamental and seems only good at gushing. Randy is just too dawg gone forgiving.

Simon just tells it like it is. That’s why I have always liked him. 👍

Prediction flash - It will be discovered that Taylor Hicks does NOT having prematurely greying and is in actuality turning 45 this year. :eek:

As such, he is eliminated from the competition for false declaration of his age, thus ending all hope for this season.

Chris is really, really good.

his performance of Fuel last night was better than Fuel’s song.

his performance of “Wanted Dead or Alive” last week was amazing.

get him to do a rendition of “Simple Kind of Man” like Shinedown did, and hands down this guy wins. or "get him to do a song by Aaron Lewis of Stained.
 
Not so much buzz about Elliott Yamin. He and Paris are my favorites. they are both so very talented. I think I would be happiest if they were the final two.

That’s exactly what I thought the first time I saw him! “What, does this guy think he’s George Clooney or something?”

Chris Daughtry is the best singer I’ve seen so far on the show this season. I think he’s the one to beat.

Oh, and I’m getting in the increasingly longer line to be Katherine McPhee’s boyfriend. I really like her singing and there’s just something I find–forgive me, SMOKING HOT!!!–about her. :love:
