Here it is. The T was missing in .html

I read the article and the Blessed Mother reference was interesting. I have heard humans splash insults at the Blessed Mother, but demons won’t. It makes me think what a coward Satan and his demons really are that they won’t insult the Virgin Mary themselves, but Satan will tempt humanity to do so.

In regards to Mary I never heard that before.

In “Hostage to the Devil” malichi Martin said the hail Mary didn’t seem to have any effect but the name of Jesus caused reactions.

Then again this preist claims the possesed will never insult the Holy Mother.

Satan knows that if he insults His Mother, it’ll be one sin that wouldn’t be forgiven. 😃

I honestly get absolutely horrified whenever I come upon some material such as this, or anything having to do with demon possession. I don’t get scared nearly as much as I used to, when there were nights that I wouldn’t dare close my eyes for sleep, but it still creeps me out and leaves me with uneasy feelings. Does anyone have any words of wisdom of how I can overcome some of these fears once and for all?

I blame “The Exorcist” mostly.

Pray the Rosary everyday.

Fair enough!
I am serious though. There were times when praying the rosary I can’t even say the words of the Hail Mary because somebody is trying to impede my lips and I struggle until finish all of it, but days come and I was able to overcome that certain kind of force with the help of God and Mother Mary. There was even a time when I finished the rosary and I seemingly saw a black figure upon getting out of the room telling me not to pray it again, he was full of hate, but I just smiled for he will never able to touch me since I was under the protection my Mother Mary.

Here are the promises attached to the Rosary as promised by Mother Mary to her children and read 2 & 3.
  1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.
  2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
  3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
  4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of people from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
  5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
  6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.
  7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.
  8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the Saints in Paradise.
  9. I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
  10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
  11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
  12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
  13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.
  14. All who recite the Rosary are my children, and brothers and sisters of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
  15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Perfect faith replaces fear. Understand that Satan is a coward. He will flee at the sign of the cross, but you can’t make it while you sleep. Who has been watching over and caring for you all the years of your life? Who knew, before you were knitted together in your mother’s womb, that you would neeed faith to conquer fear?

Give yourself totally over to the Lord, who knows your needs before you ask. Oh, and, with all the faith you can muster, go to this link, print a copy and realize the power against evil that is our Lord. cwo.com/~pentrack/catholic/spiritwar.html

This prayer, as with all faithful prayers, works. It worked for me. Say it in tears while clinging to the Rock of Salvation.

God bless you and take away your fear.

I hear ya! Evil SCARES me! It’s good to have a healthy respect for evil. I think I was young when the Exorcist came out and I heard about demon possession and I never asked anyone about it and no one ever talked to me about it.

I don’t know what has changed for me now. I’m older? Wiser? (unlikely 😉 ). I guess I would just suggest that God is bigger than evil and we have to hope (and pray) for His Protection. Having a Guardian Angel helps too! 👍

The Archangel Raphael is the patron saint of a restful sleep. I talk to hime along with St. Michael when I am having a difficult night.

Guardian Angels are well known for taking the night watch 😉

That’s why it says in my signature: One rosary a day keep Satan away! but some brothers here don’t understand it.

God loves Virgin Mary and He surely wants us all to love her.

At some parish I know, lay people try to do exorcise others; the pastor of parish warn them not to do but a few didn’t listen to him.

The team of exorcists in Italy is a special team.

Me neither.

It must take a special kind of priest to be an exorcist. I would think that God would have to have given them a certain fearlessness of Satin. Of course they would have to be of great faith but I think also would have to have an unshakable “faith constitution” so to speak. Never wavering. They are constant “soldiers of God” IMHO. And would have to have the patience of Job and physical and spiritual stamina galore. I have read where there are some in the hierarchy that actually shun such priests. Their thoughts being that they are fighting in an arena that evil very rarely if ever exists. That Satin operates in a completely different way. I give these priests the highest respect for what they are doing. This evil manifests itself in this way, of course, not nearly as often as in other areas, but I believe it does.
And when it does the power is unbelievable.

I myself would not make a good exorcist. I am one of God’s “scaredy cats”.:o

Amazing you mention the demons’ respect for the Virgin Mother! In a recent type-fest with an originally friendly Protester, he ended up slandering her name when he smacked into the truth and apparently couldn’t think of anythng else to say. And yet, she intercedes for him!

Call upon Christ at all times.

HeyMoe1287, look at the FAITH of the priest who confronts demons face-to-face: “Also frightening? Not at all” This is a great comfort, to see that evil can be faced down without fear. May you NEVER have to do this. However…

If you ever see dark shapes moving out of sight in the corners of rooms, hear noises, have your bed shaken (as I did), break out the spiritual Warfare Prayer. Say it with all the faith you can muster and evil will retreat.

Reconcilliation was a great step in stopping the above.

Christ’s peace-He is without fear.

According to the book, “Hostage to the Devil,” by Malichi Martin, Demonic possession does not happen suddenly and without the person allowing it to happen.

Demonic possession is the surrendering of ones “will” to the demon. Those who have faith in Jesus, and have no desire to surrender their will to anyone other than Him, have no fear of the devil.
