If the national anthem is playing, and there is an audience member that is not from the USA, what should that person be doing during the anthem?
I have attended sporting events in USA, I just stand when an anthem other then my own is played. The best example is at the opening and closing ceremony of the Olympics when the host nation’s anthem is played.

However only CNN blames President Trump for college football being canceled as they typically do.
Can you provide a direct statement in the article saying they blame Trump?

I’m sorry for the need to point this out to you. It was the very first part of your very own OP.

Analysis: What the college football mess reveals about Trump’s leadership

More pillars are fast crumbling in President Donald Trump’s frantic and lie-strewn attempt to convince Americans the nation is back to normal before the election, with chaos already afflicting the return to school and a rite of fall – college

Depending on who’s playing, they play both the US and Canadian anthems at hockey games. They stand for both, although I wish they’d sing instead of cheer loudly. 🙂

I always enjoy watching Canadiens loudly singing their anthem whereas we usually have some singer perform ours. It would help if the US anthem were singable! Due to so many hockey games I’ve attended, I know all the words to the Canadien anthem and usually sing along. Since no one sings to the US anthem, I just sing that in my head…I sound much better that way! 😂

Well based on that paragraph, it sounds like the college football season has become the latest political football.
