Glad to hear that you had a safe trip. Snow and ice can make even a short trip treacherous and nerve-wracking.
 
I got an early Christmas present from GEICO. They renewed my auto insurance policy, and cut my rate by almost half. I had kinda been on probation with them, since I got dropped by State Farm this summer for too many claims. I’m still a bit miffed that State Farm dropped me after my last claim, as it was about as minimal a claim as you can imagine … I hit a post, no other vehicle involved…
 
Happy New Year! Spent some days with hubby getting checked out in the hospital. Needs to have meds changed and a kidney stone REMOVED… 2019 is getting off to a “rocky” start…

Snowing again and again I must travel through the passes. Prayers would be appreciated.

Made another run up to MobilityWorks of Pittsburgh today for yet another repair on my wheelchair adapted van. Problem with the hinge on which the ramp folds. It was repaired to my satisfaction. Hopefully won’t have to go up there again till May for my regular maintenance.

It’s about 75 miles one way. This is only if I need work done on the adaptive equipment. General van maintenance, tires, oil change, etc. I can have done locally.
 
Only one accident. Roads were snow packed or wet, I hyper-glided once but did make it. Thanks for the prayers.
 
I realize that this reads like I might have an accident but I meant that I only saw one accident. I hyper-glided a little but I never lost control. Scary.
 
61 here ☀️. It’s supposed to rain tonight, which if the storm travels east will I guess mean more snow for everyone else.
 
Our place that does adaptive equipment work on vehicles is more than one hour away… Very hard for us to get there… Sometimes places like that will send a person to get your car…
