I will work together with you, if you will work with me, to bring us closer to the American idea of “and liberty and justice for all”.
I think that it is a great ideal for all of us to work toward, and we also need to realize that for some it is much further away than others.

Absolutely!

How do we do that? Work together? Or continue to be divided, support “peaceful protestors” who throw rocks/molotov cocktails at cops, looters, Antifa anarchists, etc??

We know what the media would tell us to do. Are you willing to take a half of a Red Pill and work with me?

I’m willing to break out of my tribalism and try to find the truth, which is not totally with any one party or ideology.

I’m in favor of peaceful protests. I think thugs should be dealt with. I think police should show restraint and remember they work for the whole jurisdiction they police.

Why the references to people of color? Liberty and justice for all applies to them as well - what is your point?
Al Sharpton not paying taxes??? (LifeSite???) Do you know who occupies the WH now?

Because PaulinVA said if he were a black man he would choke on the term “with liberty and justice for all.”

i brought up Sharptons taxes as an example of a prominent black man who is benefitting from “the system” despite routinely decrying lack of justice. Other black people I mentioned are quite prominent, and likely wouldnt choke on tge “loberty and justice for all” ides.

Or, we can continue with the divisiveness led by … Kapaernik…
So I only want to comment on the issue with Kapaernik, because it seems to me that it is precisely because the flag and the national anthem are symbols of unity that he used those to protest precisely because he was protesting the lack of unity, the exclusion that so many black people feel from our nation.

And I think that there is a feeling of alienation that black people feel from what should be the country of all of us that white people are unaware of.

So while I can understand your idea that the flag and the national anthem, as symbols of unity should not be used to protest racism, I can also see why to those who feel excluded from that unity might use those symbols to express that.

Thank you for the well-worded reply.

I get why he did it. It is his little rebellion. He doesn’t feel like he belongs to “our” group, so he is going to disrespect the symbol of our unity.

The bigger problem though is the whole-hearted support of his disrespect by our media, academia, etc.

It is just another step toward the dissolvement of the greatest country in the history of the planet. Things will not go well for mankind for a long time after that.
