Another oldie...Which do you prefer?

I haven’t lived in my “own country” for decades, but I do prefer to vacation outside the country I live in rather than in it.

Drying the laundry: machine or line?
 
Liquid.

Bath towels: just fabric softener/conditioner in the rinse or put them through the dryer?
 
Nine and then stop for lunch, enjoy the shade, and don’t go back out of it.

Travel to the bottom of the ocean in a submarine, or fly to space in a rocket?

Tahiti. Not big on tropical destinations, but I lived in Paris for 2½ years, still go there every six months, and only live a couple hundred miles away. It wouldn’t be much of a trip to me, even if someone else was footing the bill.

Book: read it (physical book or e-book) or listen to it (audio book)?

audio, especially with an excellent reader

I couldn’t get thru Moby Dick, it just seemed endless, I picked up the audio at the library and couldn’t turn it off.

for those who like Harry Potter, Jim Dale is an excellent reader

I started searching for books based on the reader
