Anti Catholic Super Bowl Ad

I just wanted to make you all aware of an ad that Doritos and Pepsi Max are intending on running for the Super Bowl next month. I was just made aware of this via my Facebook account through a Catholic source. This commercial is very offensive towards Catholics, and I would suggest that we all get involved to make sure this ad doesn’t run.

I would suggest that all Catholics email, call or write Doritos and Pepsi Max and tell them how blasphemous this commercial is towards Jesus in the Eucharist and Catholics in general. Even if you aren’t Catholic, I’m asking for your help here. This video shows a priest praying, then his prayer is answered by feeding his congregation Doritos and Pepsi Max. They show people standing in a Communion line, but they are receiving Doritos instead. The commercial takes a shot at Jesus as well, because it is entitled “Feed Your Flock”.

I’m personally taking this to the next level after I post this. I’m going to contact everyone involved in running this ad, all the way to the networks themselves, and I am boycotting their products.

Please help!!! 😦

Nothing suprises me anymore…We long chucked our moral compass as a nation/world…Is is all their fault tho…It the witness of Christ as strong as it once was or has apostasy within christainity tainted the message ?We all know tho this is part of the plan before His return…
 
Since the pastor is wearing a wedding ring, I doubt this is a Catholic priest.

I really doubt that they were concerned with the technicalities. It’s the inference to something
christian that was the focus…Even in the midst of it all the Lord can work His will…
 
I watched the ad, as well, and also believe that it is NOT a Catholic church, or priests, depicted. That said, I think it is sort of a “generic” Christian service shown, and that it is still offensive.
 
They don’t do this sort of thing to muslims because they know they might be blown up, or to Jews because most Jews probably wouldn’t care anyway.

Be aware of some blasphemis ads by Pespsi and Doritos that may be played during the Super Bowl.

The man is dressed up to look like a priest, is he not? They are handing out Doritos for Communion in the commercial, are they not? They are mocking our Catholic faith and making fun out of things we hold sacred, and I am not amused.

I haven’t even watched the other two commercials, but I guess in one of them, they are using Pepsi Max as Holy Water. Do you find that amusing? I’m sorry if my response sounds harsh, but I as a Catholic, am very angered and disgusted over this.

I also think that non-catholics should be equally offended over this, because the commercials slogan, as well as one of the other commercials, are mocking God and making fun out of Christianity as a whole. “Feed Your Flock” is the motto of the commercials, so they would be mocking Jesus in that instance. Also, one of the commercials has Moses in the desert, eating Doritos instead of manna.

I can’t thank you enough for posting all of these links. Iv’e already sent off an angry email to Pepsi Co, and I’ll be doing much more than that. Thank you all for your support on this.
 
The video of Moses picking up Doritos and making look like it is the “new” manna in the dessert should make all Christians mad!

The video of Doritos being given for communion does look Catholic, but of course two men called themsleves pastors and of course many protestant churches have pastors that are married and wear the black clerics, so all Christians should be mad!

The video where the Holy water had ran out and it was replaced by Pespi, and the priest sprinkling the whole parish, I do not think that can be portrayed as protestant. I have been in a lot of protestant churches over the years and never seen this until being the Catholic church. But lets assume it could be a protestant church, then all Christians should be mad!

So then lets send our email to all Christians!

I’m sure once they make a debut the companies will hear about it…Christianity is the favored whipping boy… Thing is christians respond by asking the Lord to have mercy for they know now what they do and don’t support the company…OTOH they would never do this to the muslim faith or they risk their lives…We can expect this even more as we get closer to the Lords return…

keep in mind these may be 3rd party submitted ads I may be wrong, but they are still wrong for letting these in. luckily there are alot of videos so it shouldn’t be to hard to vote it down but we need to kill these ads

I’m not sure what you mean…I don’t watch the super bowl…Are the ads home made ? Do people vote which ones get aired on regular tv ? Thanks…

if you go to the home site many of the ads are made by third parties, this one looks more professional though so IDK but there are plenty of ads that are clearly by 3rd parties (due to lack of quality)

most commercials aren’t home made but Doritos is doing something different I think

Thanks…I very rarely got to any product websites…But it be worthwhile to let them know
about their garbage…
