Whats your point?
thanks for your brilliant question… the point is, their testimonies are biblical.
Heaven - TRUE
Hell - TRUE
Purgatory - FALSE

As what the prophet of God says, He who does not want to hear, will be lost. Jesus is coming very soon, bible prophecies are starting to unfold. Only Jesus saves, nothing else not even religion.

So…how did they do that before:
  1. The printing press.
  2. When most of the world’s population did not read.
  3. And they had no Bible.
    ?
I suppose you are referring to ancient or early Christians, they have with them Jesus disciples and apostles.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

What about these Bible Verses?

Lk 12:59; 1 Cor 3:15; 1 Pet 1:7; Mt 5:25-26 … temporary agony.
Heb 12:6-11 … God’s painful discipline.
Mt 12:32 … “no forgiveness … nor in the age to come.” In hell there is no forgiveness, in heaven, you are already forgiven. Third place?
1 Pet 3:19 … purgatory
Rev 21:27 … nothing unclean shall enter heaven.
Heb 12:23 … souls in heaven are perfect.
Col 1:24; 2 Sam 12:14 … “extra” suffering.
2 Tim 1:15-18 … prayer for Onesiphorus for “that Day.”
1 Jn 5:14-17 … mortal/venial sins (sins that do not lead unto death as the Bible describes them)
Only Jesus saves, nothing else not even religion.
What about a religion that worships Jesus?

Not so sure why you’re posting these Bible Verses in particular. The previous user’s question is still not answered

thanks that you appreciate, BUT I am not a representative of any denominations.

The bottomline is, we need to prepare for our eternity. (1 day in heaven/hell is equivalent to 1000 years on earth, according to psalm)
God has given us all the information that we need to know to have eternal life. He even gave his Only Begotten Son, Jesus that through Him people might be saved.

Salvation is only available to those who are willing to open their hearts and confess in their mouth that Jesus died for you(our) sins and he rose from the dead. Ask Him to be you savior and king. And He will come to you. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Catholics already believe that Jesus died for our sins, and that He rose of the dead.

my posts are all related to the topic about heaven/hell testimonies.

merely reading the bible is totally different from understanding what the bible says. (somebody answered that already)
A person cannot understand what the bible(Holy Word) says UNLESS that person has the Holy Spirit in him. he can only have the Holy Spirit if he accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

This is where the problem lies. According to you’re post, you’ve said you’re non-denominational. But there are 33,000 Non-Catholic Christian denominations, churches, fellowships, and sects all claiming the holy spirit guides them to believe what they believe yet they disagree with each other.

And like I said. Catholics accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Who do we know who the Holy Spirit guides?
John 7: 38-39
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

the answers to all our questions are on the bible(God’s Word).the bible also teaches, testing the spirit whether that is from God. 1 Thessalonians 5: 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Christianity is not a religion but rather refer to people who believe and follow Jesus. And I am a proud Christian. I only believe what the bible says.

My question remained unanswered. How we correctly interpret God’s word?

So… let me ask you… who had authority to interpret the Bible before 393? Who approved the cannon of the Bible? Who was the FINAL word on Christianity post-resurection-pre-bible?

Protestants never ever seem to have a good answer for this one:

Thus those who serve well as deacons gain good standing and much confidence in their faith in Christ Jesus. I am writing you about these matters, although I hope to visit you soon. But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth. 1Tim3:14-15 (bold is mine)

What Church is Paul talking about? What is THE Church?

we all have no right to interpret the bible, we just have to understand what the bible says. Understanding comes from the Holy Spirit. People with Holy Spirit in them can understand what the bible says. It is God who gives understanding.
Matt 7:6 means those people who doesn’t have Holy Spirit (God’s Wisdom) cannot understand the bible and will just plainly read it like an ordinary novel.

A. Santa Claus

B. The Tooth Fairy

C. The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church

D. Snooki

It is only God who give approval.

Isaiah 55: 8-9 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

those people who believe and follow Jesus are called church. Church is not a building its the people who obey God. no religion has been mentioned in the bible.

Jesus said “those that hear you, hear me, those that reject you, reject the one who sent me”. There was no bible when he said those words…not for another 360 years or so.

Who is the “you” he was referring of and what was it that the “you” were hearing?

It is only God who give approval.

Who did St Ignatius of Antioch study under? Who is this Catholic Church? And what about Jesus Christ being wherever this Church is? This goes back ultimately to my previous post on the “you” and what the “you” was hearing. 👍

See that ye all follow the bishop, even as Christ Jesus does the Father, and the presbytery as ye would the apostles. Do ye also reverence the deacons, as those that carry out the appointment of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is [administered] either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude also be; by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church." Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to the Smyrneans, 8:2 (c. A.D. 110).

And then there was Irenaeus…

“[N]or does it consist in this, that he should again falsely imagine, as being above this [fancied being], a Pleroma at one time supposed to contain thirty, and at another time an innumerable tribe of Aeons, as these teachers who are destitute of truly divine wisdom maintain; **while the Catholic Church possesses one and the same faith throughout the whole world, **as we have already said.” Irenaeus, Against Heresies, 1:10,3 (A.D. 180).

I think your thoughts are wrong. 😦

And which of the 33,000 Non-Catholic Christian denominations is the Holy Spirit speaking to, since they all have the same Bible?
I’ve mentioned the same thing.

So far, no answer.

No, I was not.
Since the Bible as we know it was not put together until four centuries after Christ, what “Bible” were they using?
