It is good that Civitas was marginalized. I think they surprised a lot of people when they organized an earlier anti-gay marriage protest which turned out a similar sized crowd. The bishops of France had to quickly back pedal from Civitas and organize its own mass protests.
 
I pray that an event like this would happen in a town near me. I would be there to support it.
 
I heard that a million people went to protest this. This is incredible if true. That would be like 4.8 million people in Washington DC. When was the last time that ever happened?!!

One could say abortion happens but the sky hasn’t fallen but the Pope has warned against Same Sex Marriage.

That seems to be your interpretation that Civitas was marginalized. I think we actually may need an organization like that in the US.
 
You’ve got to admire Civitas, the French organization, they call their rally today a great success. Pretty easy to make out the French and date, 13th of January from their website.

Well, of course they do. Activists always claim success Never mind that their protest was out-classed by the rally which attracted hundreds of thousands of persons.

Given a choice between attending a rally backed by the Catholic bishops or a rally hacked by a far-right organization with racist overtones, I can see why Civitas was largely snubbed.

You are making accusations and you have not backed one thing up. You ignore where your statement they were marginalized was questioned. Please, if you are just out pushing the gay agenda, count me out. You are cherry picking your responses and now slinging more mud.

They had 50,000 people protesting according to their website. If a million people were there, yes, that’s much smaller but that is still a huge amount of people.

Civitas and his group have long been seen as extreme fundamentalist Catholics in disguise. As you stated FRONT DE LIBERATION DE LA FRANCE is well-known to be racist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic. Nothing about them in pretense makes them truly Catholic at all.
The group also supports Marxist affiliations and Neo-Facism
Their ultimate objective…Terrorism.

Let’s not forget, Madonna has been sued 👍 for what she said about the National Front. So just call people xemophobic and anti-semitic, hey it works for Madonna! 👍

As far as I know in regards to the other links on this page, France has indeed worked on legislation to limit head coverings in France.

Perhaps those who are speaking against Civitas are just against the ReChristianization of France. And say thumbs up 👍 to corrupting marriage and other things.

If you go to the Civitas site, and scroll down a little you’ll see a photo of there march and behind a banner that reads Alliance Royale, you’ll see a black woman in there ranks. I have a feeling this is nothing more than the similar attacks on the Tea Party, i,e, “this person once associated with that person who once said such and such” As for many of there members feeling immigration to France has gotten out of control, I’ll bet you’d find more than a few people on the bigger march who feel the same way.
 
LePenn’s father may or may not have said bad things but the daughter took over the party and that party has made reasonable gains. I don’t buy all this guilt by association and I’m not sure if the links left have anything really condemning of Civitas.
