A prime goal of far-left Antifa is to rid America of “whiteness” as a race, according to a handbook written by a historian who helped organize the anarchist “Occupy Wall Street” movement in 2011.

Anti-capitalist author Mark Bray rejects “exterminating” whites. Instead, he proposes to remove it as a race and thus terminate its high standing while creating a “classless society” that would naturally do away with crime.

“This does not mean exterminating people who are currently categorized as white, but abolishing the classificatory scheme that renders them so,” he writes in the 2017 “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook.”

Why do we care what Antifa thinks? There are people with crazy ideas all over the Internet. I am happy to leave analysis of Antifa thought to the law enforcement who have to deal with their shenanigans.

I personally couldn’t care less if Antifa thinks the moon is made of green cheese. Antifa is not my boss and is not going to be my boss any time soon.
 
Some folks are hedging their bets, unsure of which race will come out on top.

I have an idea. If all Americans of good will would stop buying into government imposition of the importance of race and ethnicity in society, that would be a great first step.
  1. refuse to fill in race and ethnicity questions on any government forms, including the census.
  2. demand that your children not be identified by race or ethnicity when they enter school.
In America, insist on one race: human, insist on one ethnicity: American.

That means that Mr. Floyd and I are the same race and ethnicity. It makes the violation of his rights and the taking of his life by an agent of the government far more personal.
 
Maybe vote a different party into local governance?

Did you read the context of my statement?
Do you recognize that not everyone in America sees other Americans in that way?

It would be great if we could shelve race as a meaningfulness concept generally.
 
Seeing as this is a Catholic forum would it be appropriate to say we are all Gods children…no matter the color of our skin…no matter the country where we were born…but of course people here on CAF can’t agree on much of anything so we’re all Gods children will never happen.
 
Well, eliminating whiteness would cut down on hate crimes significantly as they are currently defined, one would think. And racism, as it is defined by some on this board.
 
And in the aftermath of that tragedy through rioting and looting the very livelihoods of thousands of people have been destroyed, homes have been destroyed, thousands have been injured - many seriously and over a dozen more murdered - how much more personal is that? Or does that injustice merely get a pass - meah 😖… mere collateral damage
