I am looking to discuss some questions I have regarding the Christian faith and the faith of Islam. I have been in contact with a Muslim who has some rather interesting ways of interpreting the Bible, so I would like to have a dialogue with a Muslim. I am sincere and fair, no Islam bashing so I expect no Christian bashing. Thank you.

They’ll tell us when they come back.

ANYWAYS:

Not everyone has the luxury of sitting behind a PC all day!

To the OP its best to go straight to the horses mouth for the answers. The barn yard pigs cant tell you what the horse thinks.

I am a Muslim and you can talk to me if you want.

Send me a PM and I’ll give you my email address. Any threads on this forum immediately get derailed so someone else can Islam-bash (even though that’s not your intent.) I think the appropriate term for that is “hijacking.” lol

Seriously though, I’d love to talk with you either way.

You can visit my blog, too:

I look forward to hearing from you! 🙂

I have to say, as I expected, you are the only Muslim with the gutts and integrity to reply here.

You can answer without sidesteping the question with an attack on Christianity. Others can’t.

No. I’ll believe you are just the first when I see two in particular, who shall remain nameless, show up.
Suit yourself.

can you please tell me what filtra or filtrah means? thanks.

Fitrah or fitra is a pure state.

A child, for example, is born in a pure state. He isn’t adherent to any worldly religion, he hasn’t been corrupted by any worldly influences, he’s just in a pure, natural state.

why do they call you a revert then? you cannot revert to islam if you were born in a pure state and not adhering to any religion, isn’t that correct?

**Hello,

The Christian belief is that you are born in sin. Islam negates this belief.

When a child grows and has a sense of awareness, thinking capability and responsibility, it is known as the natural state of awareness. One can and has the ability to decipher a Creator. You can have a let’s say a boy grow up in a jungle and see what is around him and he knows that these things must be created by someone…this is the essence…the natural state…knowing there is a Creator, the super power.

In the Christian faith, the belief is that everyone is born into sin and that is the reason God sent His son. This, to Muslims, is ludicrous because know one can bear the sin of another being…(even teaches that in the Bible…but:shrug: ) or be judged by the sin of another. Allah is merciful and the Most Wise. He made man with the best tools, a brain and a heart.

🙂 hope that answered your question inshaAllah

In Islam revert meaning, the parents raise them in another way than the original awareness of the One Creator…thus reverting back to its original state. 🙂

🙂 Hi “t68ware” & welcome to CAF,

The Catechism of the Catholic Church CCC#841 states that Muslims will be considered in the plan of salvation, so you as a Protestant, what do you think will happen to the Muslims on the judgement day?

It’s why I prefer the term “convert” but some people say “revert” because Islam is the natural religion God revealed for mankind. So someone who embraces Islam returns to the pure state and inclination to believe in God alone without partners. In other words, reverts.

Yes, it says God created man weak.

Just because you repeat something (Three times, btw 😃 ) doesn’t make it true. Why do the apologists for Islam not know that?
