You missed my point. I stated that you missed your opportunity to direct the JW to the truth assuming that you do in fact know the truth.
Again, you miss my point. While I have never been a JW, I have much experience with them, I have studied much of their material and most important, I have a sincere burden for them, obviously you do not, which is of course your right.
Then please explain all of the hostility. Did the Apostle Paul write off people like you do? Did he not witness to the truth to those who beat him? Tossed him into jail? If you know your Bible, then you would have nothing to fear from the witnesses. In fact, you would consider it pure joy to discuss the word of God to one who does not know the One True God.
Except the salvation of souls, the souls that Christ died for, is that not worthy of mere debate? Or is that just a minor annoyance to you?
What about the Great Commission? Are you exempt? You look at them at your door as them attempting to convert you. I look at it as the Lord sending the lost to me to hear the Gospel.
Well, you are free to live in a fairytale.
Those people weren’t sent by God for you to save.(How egotistical of you!!) Those people are there of their own free will
to convert you.
As I said before, I will discuss Catholicism with anyone who truly wants to listen. The JWs at your door aren’t there to listen.
When the witnesses knock at my door they hear and see the gospel right from the Bible and they leave knowing that not everyone who is not a member of their organization is Bible illiterate or unable to show their faith right from the pages of the Bible.
This is not the same as having the door slammed in their face, which is what you seem to advocate.
