In the interim, what about the possibility that CAF members were brought to this site and specifically to this Thread, through god to possibly meet their future spouse?! OK, maybe I am crazy and maybe the thought is outlandish, but I have read many posts by some on here trying to use secular dating sites, or even catholic dating sites…I say play a dating game with eachother on the list…maybe it can’t hurt to at least explore?!

If you want, I can be the matchmaker! lol

Everything went okay, thank God! There is a slight possibility that the road is already paved away for her full conversion. I invited her to go tomorrow to Sunday Mass. I think she might accept my invitation. Still, let’s pray so that she will experience a full-fledged conversion to Catholicism and Catholic Orthodoxy, which, of course, won’t be easy to obtain. But for God, nothing is impossible, and we always have Mary, Our Holy Mother, to intercede for us. Once again, thank you all for your prayers! Let’s keep praying for all of our intentions! I’ll make sure I’ll introduce you on my 4th mystery of the Rosary.

DAPDN, good to hear things are moving along, don’t rush it, though I’m a bit confused, she is catholic, but like a…cafeteria catholic you mean? Glad you have high standards man, it’s all in for the long haul.

As for my date, it went really well, had a meaningful conversation for about an hour and watched a movie after, I met her a week later at a more social setting where we ‘hung out’ you could say Don’t know her thoughts really, but she does seem interested, though she hasn’t responded to my last message in several days, you girls sure do take your own sweet time, and by time I mean LONG time
I’m still praying it goes well and that everyone here too meets someone special.

The internet kind of acts like a filter when talking to others, the other person will know exactly what you want them to know, in real life it’s not like that, your body language, composure, reality…in other words says a lot more, but that being said I’ve heard of so many relationships that have started because of the internet, so go for it if you feel it’s right

Oh yeah, and I definitely have very high standards. You really can’t be mistaken in what concerns to the person which will become your future spouse. So it’s better that she/he mets all of our standards, or else, there’s a high risk, and we can’t afford to have that risk. Marriage is a very serious thing, you know… So, we gotta be careful about that.

Anyway, I’m glad to hear that everything’s going alright with you! I’ll pray so that everything between you two may grow in the grace of God, towards Him. God bless!

I think Harmony’s right about that. You definitely gotta be careful about who you meet in the internet. I’ve made some of my best friends through the internet, but I don’t think it may be as good in what concerns to finding your future likely spouse… There’s a lot to be taken in consideration, and, quoting myself above, you really have to be careful and have high standards when you’re choosing the person to whom you’d like to be married to.

Guess What !! My question now is am I ever going to be a Mrs. Somebody someday as I am 34 years, we have 5 kids and 1 grandbaby.

Tell me what am I doing wrong. We are living together and yes I know its sinful to live together if you aint married and you have more than a kid in your hands.

I mean, I love this man so much, I feel that we are married but in reality of life and in GODS way, we are still committing sin.

So please tell me…How to do about this…You are young…And if you have no child to worry of…You have alot of times in your hands to explore your emotions and maybe…Most likely you will find that right person to say “I Do”

I am still waiting for us to walk down that beautiful isle as he has proposed to me like more than once.But thats how far we’ve got closed to being married.
