maybe we could compromise and celebrate Christmas on their date and celebrate Easter on our date.I think it would be wrong for the majority of Christendom to change just for the Orthodox, who’s Easter date is so far from Passover, its makes no sense.
If anything, they should be changing to the date we celebrate, but that will never happening.

The merchants would go crazy with either idea.maybe we could compromise and celebrate Christmas on their date and celebrate Easter on our date.
Its not a matter of “our date,” vs “their date,” but what is theologically sound.maybe we could compromise and celebrate Christmas on their date and celebrate Easter on our date.
it is about our date vs. their date because our date for Easter is close to the Jewish Passover. Its not a matter of “our date,” vs “their date,” but what is theologically sound.
You’ll never see Christmas changed to any other date from December 25th.
Easter, should always remain as close to Passover as possible, for it was in the week of the Jewish Passover that Jesus as crucified, died and rose.
