Are Males more Lustful than females? Why?

Lets discuss the religious & scientific causes of lust, and how they cover the genders.

I think women can be worse than men, they are more prone to polymorphous perversity when they forgo temperance.

Sexual dimorfism means that males has to compete for female attention and sexual availability. If often pushed by the male hormone testosterone.
Is because the males can impregnate a large number of females but in the other side females can have only a limited number of children so for them sex have more consequences for them that for males. That is the reason while in mamals males are often bigger that females and had to fight/compete among themselves for females.
Of course that has become disruptive for the human species once we became civilized so that is why most religions push for monogamy and control of sexuality. And why civilizated people use clothes.

I will allow this discussion if it is kept general not personal nor anatomically descriptive. I don’t think I have to explain myself further. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Males are more lustful, because testosterone provides a strong drive to get what they want.

to quote someone else

“A man goes out and sleeps with five different women he increases his chances of passing on his genes, a women goes out and sleeps with five different men, she get’s a confused kid.”

Given the number of “confused kids” out there, what’s your point? 🤷

I think men are more lustful in a purely physical way, thanks to their testosterone levels and nature’s way of ensuring that their genes are passed on. But I think that women are more likely to use sex in a manipulative way in order to get what they want from men, and in the process may appear to be acting lustfully.

I disagree. I think women have just as much lust, but for various reasons, don’t act on it as often as men seem to.

I think it is easier for a man to have sex without feeling; having sex with someone they are not attracted to or particuarly like in any way than women, and I think they find it easier to walk away afterwards without a conscience. This of course is a generalization. I’m not suggesting women are incapable of doing this; just more men than women seem to behave like this. I’m not sure if that is the same thing as lust though. I just read about a guy when I was at the hairdressers, (nothing else to do in the hairdressers but read stupid magazines). He is 24, and has eight kids to different woman, sees none of these women or any of his kids. He’s now got another one pregnant and claims he is now ready to settle down and get married. Poor girl!

This is an easy question.

Take a look at advertisements, TV shows, movies, etc. What do you see more of? Lusting after women? Or lusting after men? They may be evil, but they are not ignorant. They know who their audience is and lust is more visible in the male population than the female. Hands down.

Estrogen does the same thing to women.
What’s the ratio of rape victims, men to women? It helps to understand the strength of lust and I believe it is far stronger as a whole with the male population. Hands down.

I’m not sure that that’s terribly accurate. First of all, rape is a great deal more about power than lust. If a man is lustful, there are ahem other improper ways to deal with it than forcing sex on a woman. Second, strictly speaking, it’s a lot harder for a woman to rape a man than vice versa.

I totally agree. I think men are more visual than woman. For example, the simple sight of a woman unclothed is errotic to the average man. The sight of a man unclothed is ho hum to the average woman. Speaking personally, there is nothing about the average male’s unclothed body that in and of itself makes me feel lustful. Of course, I could be just a little prudish.

You may be right. But then again, it is more about will and intent than the act I am concerned with. I do believe my other example is stronger than this one though (my reply to the OP).
