And let’s add the 7th century koran found in Yemen which NO ONE can review.
What is there to hide?
What is there to hide?
Not my personal opinion.Yep, again PERSONAL OPINION… doesnt count my friend… where is your evidence to your accusation?
What is it with muslims and this “memorize” deal???The Qur’an was memorized and even today, we have people who know the entire Qur’an by heart…At the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he would receive a revelation, then he memorized it and taught it to the Sahabas (his companions)… Show me the evidence where Aisha (peace be upon her) made such a statement?
So even if alll the copies of the Qur’an in the world today is burnt, the Qur’an is still alive in this world… because of memorization… an Average muslim child of less than 6 years old knows at least 10-15 chapters of the Qur’an by heart… So your accusation is invalid.
You know what, enough of this. For the three days I have been on here, I havent come across as many memebers who make false statements and have no evidence to prove it… sadly, much of the Christians I have met have personal opinions and a very few actually know their own scriptures… So it isnt me…
I haven’t seen any proof in your posts.Who did he borrow scriptures from and why would he need to? I havent seen a single proof to your statements… much of what you say is personal opinion which is not valid in an intelligent conversation… so show us the proof of your statements just like I have in most of my posts…
JC will frown with my post to this matter right now, but what the heck :yawn:Prove that Muhammad (PBUH) lied? these are just false accusations… He is not a liar but the seal of the Prophets sent down by Allah… Who did he borrow scriptures from and why would he need to? I havent seen a single proof to your statements… much of what you say is personal opinion which is not valid in an intelligent conversation… so show us the proof of your statements just like I have in most of my posts…
Very often we come across an English phrase, “There is no god but Allah”. This must be wrong translation then. It should read, “there is no god but God”. So why do we often use the former, which more likely to mean that ‘Allah’ is a name, a proper noun.

Lion, how do you account for the fact that Mohammad / Quran taught differently than Christianity and the Bible? When Muslims say they believe in Jesus, they mean it just as much as if Christians and Muslims say, “We believe in Isaiah.” It does not bear the same context as when Christians say they believe in Jesus.
As for topics in the Quran…the Quran also denies the Trinity (S. 4:171), says that the Christians will be condemned if they believe in the Trinity (S. 5:73), says Christ was nothing more than a prophet (S. 5:75), says that His knowledge of the Law and prophets was only because God gave it to Him (S. 3:48), and even says that Christ wasn’t crucified (S. 4:157-158). Whoever this spirit was speaking to Mohammad and giving Him the Quran, it was not the Spirit of God that Christians know.
Not good enough for the standard that Quran has set for itself. Memorization does not guarantee 100% accuracy, we all know that. What more to say for a book as big as the Quran. The Qur’an was memorized and even today, we have people who know the entire Qur’an by heart…At the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he would receive a revelation, then he memorized it and taught it to the Sahabas (his companions)… Show me the evidence where Aisha (peace be upon her) made such a statement?

What you just said above is not just illogical, its ridiculous.Of course Muslims arew worshipping the same God. By definition, monetheistic religion believe in ONE GOD, so how could it be any other. The Holy Koran described Jesus as the Messiah (3:40-47). It refers to the Torah and the Gospel as true teachings.
You will also find the Trinitarian metaphor used in many Sufi writings, using exactly the Augustinian formula of the Love, the Beloved and the Love.
To say it is not the same God is simply racist propaganda. Christians and Muslims should consider themselves brothers in Faith.
Firstly Lion,Trinity is blasphemy… because its attributing that God had a son…
“And your God is One God: there is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.” (Holy Qur’an 2:163)
“Allah! There is no god but He, the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).” ( Holy Qur’an 2:55)
Trinity is a pagan concept… further evidence: youtube.com/watch?v=71cVPak5LKI
I agree. This is precisely why I’ve advised Muslims many times to not insist on using ‘Allah’ when speaking English.Very often we come across an English phrase, “There is no god but Allah”. This must be wrong translation then. It should read, “there is no god but God”. So why do we often use the former, which more likely to mean that ‘Allah’ is a name, a proper noun.
I have nothing against all this, whether Allah is a name or not, but the common usage looks like Allah is a name. If it is not, then Muslims should not persist with the misleading usage.
You’re right this time. If they use english, the error is extremely clear and the fraud is exposed. But if they use arabic or something else, the hearer will less likely detect the problem and its easier to excuse it (if the hearer notices) using linguistic syntactical ‘practices’.I agree. This is precisely why I’ve advised Muslims many times to not insist on using ‘Allah’ when speaking English.
S. 2:162 is precisely what Christians believe: there is only one God. Christians are monotheists through and through. If you deny this, then you are being forced to lie by your religion.Trinity is blasphemy… because its attributing that God had a son…
“And your God is One God: there is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.” (Holy Qur’an 2:163)
mmmmmmmm you mention you are a catholic, is this sort of new catholicism? Are you defecting from the papal authority and forming your own? Because your writings amazed me. What is Jesus to You?In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful…
Some of the posters here do not seem to know the Koran, or even the Bible in any detail. Please study them before making and conclusion.
The only significant difference between Christianity and Islam is a different understanding of the status of Jesus. The Koran describes him as the Messiah, born of the Virgin Mary. Muslims believe he will come again at the end of time. The Gospel’s ascribe the title of ‘Son of God’ to Jesus, but clearly do not mean it in the sense of physical conception, but rather implying a favoured relationship. This misunderstanding is the heart of the the division. But what does it matter? What is important is the moral teachings of Jesus, not whether he was simply the Messiah, or the Son of God.
Pretty much all the moral teachings of Christianity and Islam are identical- except Muslims are a bit liberal when it comes to divorce and marriage. Everything else is the same.
I think Western so-called Christian governments should learn from the governments of Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. about the importance of enforcing public morality.
Best wishes to all
Hi PamWhat is it with muslims and this “memorize” deal???
If the koran is memorized today as it was from the beggining when the so called angel nailed mohamad in the cave, then why the heck it isn’t recited as “mohamad claimed to have received it”??? ??? ??? **
From the beggining:** Al-Alaq
Your fellow muslim reciters memorizing Uthmans koran which starts from Al-Fatiha.
Al fatiha was NOT THE FIRST “revealed” words from the so called angel in the cave
