Are Nudists Bad?

My dear; the only thing excessive about a nudist resort is the cost of the gas to get there!

Seriously though. Why should I not be able to go nude, as long as I am not hurting or offending anyone? As long as I am not being kinky or perverted in any way? It isn’t nudity that displeases God.

It is the fact that we say what He has created is horrible. It is the fact that every year people like Larry Flynn and Hugh Hefner put out trash magazines and make millions more each year than the teachers, policemen, firefighters (some of us are volunteers and SPEND OUR OWN MONEY TO DO THIS) and garbagemen who perform an actual service to the community. It is the fact that millions of children are abused every year by pedophiles while John Ashcroft orders a bra to be put on a statue of a naked woman. It is that Terri Schiavo is being starved to death by her scum bag of a husband while the lawmakers and judges stand by and PERMIT IT to happen and PREVENT THE FAMILY FROM DOING ANYTHING!!! while convicted murderers and child molestors get three squares a day. We don’t need more repression. We need priorities and common sense.

Think about it. Naked racquetball is the least of God’s problems.

I have thought about it, all that your are doing is presenting rationalization, justification, minimization, …for psychologically liberating yourself from embracing Christian virtue.

In Western culture I can’t see how your argument holds up?

We don’t need more repression. We need priorities and common sense.

We do need to repress more vice and more moronic ideas like “nudism”.

Oh yes, I have heard that line of reasoning many times. Contraception? God does not care? Homosexual acts? God does not not care.

The idea that some want to walk around semi public naked around strangers is probably more of an emotional disorder than a sin in many cases. But, make no mistake, it is not a moral thing to do.

also I will tell you how easy it is to twist things out of context…

I carry a knife on my person. I also wear a pager. On occassion I know I am going to break out car windows and enter other people’s residences without being invited. I also know I can expect to break a few ribs and sternums of elderly people. I also drive at ungodly speeds at random intervals… and I also leave my children often.

Sounds like I’m a pretty horrible person don’t it. Well here is what I left out. I am a volunteer firefighter, going to train to be an EMT as well. The knife is for cutting seat belts off trapped people, the pager is to alert me to a call. Breaking out car windows to try to extricate victims. Entering other people’s residences to save their lives. During CPR it is not uncommon for ribs to break. I drive like a bat out of hell to get to the fire station, and I can only hope each time that I return in one piece to my children.

What on earth is your point? There is no way one can misunderstand the position of supporting “nudism”. Is is an affront to virtue.
