It does, a quick change in public is just like a breast feeding woman nudity or having to go to the bathroom in the woods. Is there certain degrees of nudity now? Whats the difference now of a man’s chest and woman’s? Where do you say “Ok thats enough skin”?

Modesty is a gray area from full blown nakedness to not showing anything like what the Taliban made their women wear when they ruled Afghanistan. Modesty is all what a person perceives it to be based on its societies views of the time.

You are obviously confusing and interchanging nudity with/for modesty.

The term “Naturist” means to me, is that I eat only organic natural foods. I don’t eat preservatives or artificial things like colours. I eat a plant based diet, no meat, egg, or dairy. Use medicinal herbs and the like for sickness or ailments, nothing illegal… I love fresh air and like being outdoors. I believe in lots of exercise and physical fitness. So far, from what I’ve read in this thread, the Church doesn’t explicitly say what is “modest” and what is “immodest”. She seems to leave it up to the individual and cultural norms. (I’ll admit, I can’t find the source that everyone seems to be quoting.) So it seems, sunbathing nude in a park in Boston would be sinful (since it’s not done there), while doing the same in Munich would be okay (since families can stroll through that park without batting an eye).

I agree those type of shows are for arousal purposes and shouldn’t be around. Nudity though doesn’t equal sex.

As for how much nudity is okay, I do not know this, hence the reason for me doing the above.

I was also thinking magazines of this nature are meant to arouse which is wrong, that goes with graphic novels, books, movies etc.

It seems people can’t seperate nudity with sex.

I must admit I think a women’s body is a beautiful sight to behold, nude or otherwise, from her face to her toes. I am always mindful of vowing to avoid the near occasion of sin and the fact I prayed to be led not into temptation and to be delivered from evil. I believe one can admire a rose without lusting. On the other hand maybe you have to be my age to actually achieve that amazing feat.

YOU’re the one who said in an earlier post that you went to a gay nude beach. Why did you do it? Did your friend lead you to it? I got the impression you didn’t have fun, though. Plus, you didn’t actually say whether you were totally naked. Did your friend like it? Did all those naked guys bring lust into your heart? Just curious. (Or maybe THAT’s the culprit - curiosity!)

I guess THAT’s where people start looking at things differently. You see a bed and think of physical intimacy. Others might see a bed and think of nothing but sleep.
