Dumb question, and I might not need to ask, but are you saying that being a non-Catholic Christian is a sin?

Are there people here at CAF, Catholics and non-Catholics that for the sake of ecumenicalism, are compromising their own faith
]
absolutely not.
Catechism of the Catholic Church, probabaly quoting from a Vatican 2 doc, UNITATIS REDINTEGRATIO, bolding mine, brackets theirs:Is there something in a Church document that shows that someone born baptist is in a state of sin? Or a Methodist?
They are talking about places like Anglican, Methodist, etc.**818 **"However, one **cannot **charge with the sin of the separation those who at present are born into these communities [that resulted from such separation] and in them are brought up in the faith of Christ…
Hello** carjack**,Who is talking about denying your faith?
Hello **Contarini **(Edwin),As far as I can see, no one has yet provided a single example of someone compromising their beliefs on this forum for the sake of ecumenism!
Edwin
Hello SIA,absolutely not.
Hello Holly,No, I doubt it because Catholics on here always give good answers to the questions and doubts that are presented. Therefore, I would see Catholic Answers Forums as more of strengthening a Catholic’s faith than weakening it.Also, Catholic Answers Forums is good for educating Protestants and is probably immensely helpful in gaining converts to Catholicism.

Edwin,And thank you for your courtesy, humility, and Christian charity, which I’m not sure I’d have been able to imitate (though I promise to try if I get the chance) if you’d criticized me the way I’ve criticized you.
In Christ,
Edwin
So that is a document opposing this viewCatechism of the Catholic Church, probabaly quoting from a Vatican 2 doc, UNITATIS REDINTEGRATIO, bolding mine, brackets theirs:
