Are you in favor of a New World Order (world governance)?

I agree with you. They have pretty much deceived the people around the globe.

So many people are oblivious to satan’s influence on society via freemasonry. God will save us so I’m not afraid.
Do you know how much philanthropic work the Freemasons do? I agree that Freemasonry conflicts with Catholic dogma and doctrine but that doesn’t mean that they are evil or somehow linked to Satan.

In reality sir, just about every person or ‘group’ that works under the guise of philanthropy is involved primarily with directing the flow of money. There are always special interests behind these charitables. It’s all about generating monies and keeping that money flowing within the hands of a selected group.

Is that evil…? Well, it can be, and often is considering the fact that there are many injustices that occur when the end goal becomes more important than the things you do when trying to accomplish that goal -which tends to happen more often than not. And people choose to simply turn a blind eye to that reality.

I fail to see how an organization that devotes so much time and money to helping children with horrible diseases can be linked to Satan. I know many Masons and Shriners and they are kind, compassionate men who devote considerable amounts of their own time, energy, and money to helping others, especially children. They are not evil. There is no worldwide Freemason conspiracy.

This isn’t a thread about Freemasons, we already have hundreds of those ongoing here on the forums… I’m just talking about philanthropic groups as a whole -which includes freemasons as well as “think tanks” and other nonsensical groups bent on money and power.

But I’m sure there are plenty of nice masons out there. ;).

You think that Freemasons and think tanks are only concerned with money and power? I assume you have evidence to support this. It sounds to me like you’ve been reading too many conspiracy theories.

I have zero patience for freemason advocates here on these Catholic Forums. You should stop. Any Catholic who becomes a freemason is automatically excommunicated. Aside from that, the only conspiracy here is freemasonry itself. What kind fraudulent group keeps everything they do secret except for one thing -charity! That is a conspiracy in itself. So who’s Tubalcain? Who’s Hirab Abiff? Trust me, I know enough about that group I could pass for one myself. Besides, the Catholic Chirch is the number one supporter of Charity in the world. The masons only supply a small fraction of what the Holy Church does, and the church isn’t crooked.

If you want to talk about “think tanks” I can back that up with sources… I’ve already got a thread started on it. See you there. 👍

Technically, the OP was asking if we were in favor of any New World Order, not necessarily the New World Order proposed by secularists.

If world governance were anti-Christian (which one could argue it is right now), then it would be a Christian duty to oppose and reform it (which one could argue it is right now). The Vatican is already trying to do this with its permanent observer seat at the UN, and other methods.

However, that doesn’t mean that the concept of global governance (or even, dare I say, global government) is inherently evil. If it were truly democratic, committed to real human rights (not the “rights” invented in the sexual revolution), and had a Christian democratic party that had some degree of actual power, it might actually be a good thing.
Thank you for saying what apparently I couldn’t articulate.

But the thread has moved past this now it seems. (carry on…)

I am not in favour of a New World Order.

It is my view that Man is incapable of bringing True Justice and Equality.
Only God can do this.

I have zero tolerance for people who defame a group with wild accusations that are simply not true. I will not stop. You are being very uncharitable toward a group you think you know about, but it’s obvious you don’t. I doubt you could pass as a Freemason. Just because a Catholic can’t be a Freemason doesn’t mean that Freemasons are evil or Satanists. As far as I’m aware, the only problem the Church has with Freemasonry is the oath of secrecy. They are not devil worshipers. There is no Masonic conspiracy, take off the tin foil hat. The Freemasons do an enormous amount of good for their fellow man.

Really? Well If the only problem the Church has with freemasonry is “the oath of secrecy” () then why are Catholics Automatically Excommunicated for saying it? Its Catholic doctrine that Masonry is so horrible that it buys you a free ticket to hell.

…sounds pretty serious. You must think the Pope needs to take his “tin foil hat” off too. And the rest of the clergy too…

I’m pretty sure the Pope and the clergy don’t believe in a vast Freemason conspiracy.

Prove it then.
You prove it.
Ok. 🙂

ENCYCLICAL OF POPE LEO XIII
ON FREEMASONRY

vatican.va/holy_father/leo_xiii/encyclicals/documents/hf_l-xiii_enc_18840420_humanum-genus_en.html

“3. At so urgent a crisis, when so fierce and so pressing an onslaught is made upon the Christian name, it is Our office to point out the danger, to mark who are the adversaries, and to the best of Our power to make head against their plans and devices, that those may not perish whose salvation is committed to Us, and that the kingdom of Jesus Christ entrusted to Our charge may not stand and remain whole, but may be enlarged by an ever-increasing growth throughout the world.”

“The other is the kingdom of Satan, in whose possession and control are all whosoever follow the fatal example of their leader and of our first parents, those who refuse to obey the divine and eternal law, and who have many aims of their own in contempt of God, and many aims also against God.”

Do you anything from a more recent Pope or clergy?

The pope said they had/have “plans and devices” and that freemasons “have many aims of their own in contempt of God, and many aims also against God.”

…you asked for proof and I gave it to you. 🤷

That is not proof of a worldwide masonic conspiracy.
