it can’t be good if you can’t remember who the axis of evil is/was…
If you care to cast personal dispersions, that is up to you, the Iraq part of the Axis of Evil has been taken out. It can’t be good if you care to make this a personal matter.

maybe from the us or other nuclear technology countries.
The US?? Really?? That’s outrageous. You might read up on history, it’s clear how isolated North Korea is even from seeing when they participate in sports tournaments like the World Cup , England 1966 or South Africa 2010.

i’ve started to ask myself why these countries hate america. i mean, why?
if america has not done anything to deserve it, is the best way forwards for everyone to get along and help people get what they want, rather than everyone threatening each other.

United Nations is in a closed emergency session now over NK.
United Nations: The United Nations Security Council strongly condemned North Korea’s third nuclear test on Tuesday and vowed to take action against Pyongyang for an act that all major world powers, including traditional ally China, have denounced.
“The members of the Security Council strongly condemned this test, which is a grave violation of Security Council resolutions,” South Korean Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan, whose country is president of the council this month, told reporters. He said the council would now consider “appropriate measures.”
The non-binding statement was approved by all 15 council members.

North Korea has been exceptionally isolated for decades and decades, I don’t think it’s the same situation as with India and Pakistan. The question is valid, is it the old “Axis of Evil”? Iran, North Korea and ? Was there a 3rd country? Was it Iraq back when Bush Elder said this? I think so.
China tested its first atomic device in 1964 and is North Korea’s closest trading partner. It too was upset by the test but does not want to destabilize the country.

During the Korean War (1950-1953), the Chinese sent troops to help and the Russians sent “advisors” who were directly involved in military operations.

The Chinese are ‘annoyed’ that North Korea wants to do things to provoke the United States, but the last thing it wants is a reunification of North and South Korea, who are, technically, still in a state of war.

Iraq was shown to have zero nuclear weapons. It did have some old chemical weapons and perhaps some biological weapons but that was it. Irag did buy a nuclear reactor from France in 1976, which was destroyed by Israeli fighter-bombers in 1981.

Peace,
Ed

i do believe north korea’s new leader does like the attention especially when he sees how we are trying to stop iran from have nuclear capabilities!!! i am sure Japan is very nervous about this.
