I find it funny that LDS or CULT people come on here post and then leave when they are out of there lies
I’m guessing I shouldn’t tell my “Two mormons walk into a bar” joke then.lol…or don’t read my posts…
My posts are not mean. If someone does not like them, then put me on ignore.
There is a definite pattern to their postings.I find it funny that LDS or CULT people come on here post and then leave when they are out of there lies
This is the non-catholic section, can’t you be charitable?you have made three posts now judging harshly those having some fun. What is worse? Our humor or your continued rants bashing those of us having some fun?
About that beam in your eye…
Rather judgmental don’t you think?TK - All he wants is you to be a little nicer. You’re having fun should not include mocking people of other religions. If you can’t accept that, then you shouldn’t post.
you have hurt my feelings…do you care? This is the non-catholic section, can’t you be charitable?
If this board doesn’t want other religions to post, then they need to get rid of this section. Just tell them you don’t like them and to go away.
Perhaps I don’t agree with the beliefs of other religions, but I do respect them as I want them to respect me and mine. It’s the do unto others thing…
fun? I have fun without hurting the feelings of others.
ah shucks!Rather judgmental don’t you think?
Nobody is mocking anything, and it is obvious that you as a new member are not aware of different posters styles.
It is next to impossible to determine someones tone through an online forum.
TK is not, rude or mocking, he is simply outspoken and blunt. Both being excellent qualities when defending the faith.
I would conclude that you don’t know the meaning of household. If I were to state that a whole household smoked. And said household included a few minors, would you assume I referenced the minors smoking as well? Would it necessarily mean the minors smoked? My whole household smoked for quite some time. When I state this, I reference only those of us who could legally smoke.
Simply put, “whole household” does not necessitate infant baptism.
DING, DING, DING, We have a Winner!!!I think the moderators would step in if they thought the Mormons were being picked on by us horrible Catholics!
Unfortunately, it is you that is derailing the thread.I’m ashamed to call myself Catholic in this forum. Seriously.
Hurt your feelings? If I did, then I was just having fun, it’s hot out here in the desert dontchaknow, and I just needed to cool off by having some fun. Next I’m going to catch me some lizards and pull their legs off for fun, and then pick on the scorpions. You don’t know me, I’m just having some fun.
If you dont like it, dont read the posts. Nobody is holding a gun to your head are they? Lighten up. You could also read all the posts on this thread. As Two pointed out the mormons will try different things but he also left out that when certain things dont work, they become rude and attack the poster. If your so ashamed, tell it to Jesus.I’m ashamed to call myself Catholic in this forum. Seriously.

If I go to a Mormon house…a house where there is a family…and the mother has a baby…is the baby not a member of the household?
I’d like to know the answers to the two questions above. This could be the start of a new thread. If not, what do you call it for there must be a name for this condition where the baby is not a member of the household?
Hello Porknpie,OK, I’d like to hear a LDS response to post 527 but if not all of 527 then only to this point. If an infant is not part of a “Household” …what is it? To be fair to Mormons, this question is not only one for Mormon’s but all other denominations that believe baptism should be delayed until the age of reason.

I believe infants are part of the household. I believe baptism should be delayed until the age of reason.
If I understand the Catholic belief properly you believe that being baptized provides some benefit in and of itself in the afterlife to the individual who is baptized. In other words if both a Hindu baby and a Catholic baby dies the Catholic baby will get some sort of benefit from his baptism that the Hindu baby will lose out on. Is this correct?
I believe that baptism is a result of a decision to follow Christ. It needs to be done when the individual is able to make that decision. The ritual of baptism has no value in and of itself.

Why should the answers stated here, by mostly non LDS members, be accurate when in my opinion, one has not been taught by the missionaries or been on mormon.org to get their questions answered. I believe folks here, who are former LDS or never been LDS have the right to their own opinion — their opinion should not be considered official doctrine of the LDS church.I appreciate your willingness to jump into the arena. Just be prepared. Many of us will be making sure your answers are true and reflect ALL the teaching of the LDS Church.
I, too, am a returned missionary. I also served in EQ presidency and bishopric. I have attended many temples and was originally sealed in the Guatemala Temple after my Honduras mission and took out my endowments in the Idaho Falls Temple.
