**There is no abrogation of any verse in Quran. There is no word “Sword” in Quran. Sword is never mentioned in the Quran. But sword is definitely mentioned in the bibleNT when Jesus told his friends to buy swords even by selling their clothes.

All the verses that R_Not has presented about killing any one are about the antagonist hostile disbelivers called “Kafir”. They are the external manifest (declared) open enemy type disbelievers. Not any simple peaceful non-believers. So, such peopel are liable to be killed in any country even today**.

Ants can’t communicate like humans - you don’t even need scientific data to know this!

Human being need to eat food , go to toilet etc . God is above all these. We can’t imagine that God need to rush for toilet , it’s blasphemy to think that God needs to do these for His survival.

But God blessed Solomon (p) with special knowledge , what’s so strange about it ? How can u confirm that ants don’t communicate with each other ? May be , scientists don’t know about it how they do it , but it’s not that strange to believe ants do communicate with each other & Solomon (p) was gifted the knowledge to understand that . At least , that belief won’t throw us in to fire but God can die --this belief is a major sin in Islam & will put us in to eternal fire.

So , we must be very careful what to belief & what to reject . If Christians can belief so many mystries , then what’s the big deal about talking ant’s ?

And the reason why abrogation in the koran is so slick and slippery is because the older, weaker abrogated surahs can be used to fool so many.

If you keep pressing for abrogation then I will remind you that the verses of the Quran have abrogated the corrupted verses of the bible by giving them new meaning. Just like church has abrogated the law of Moses a.s., The Quran has abrogated many false beliefs of the christian’s bible.

I have always understood Islam in its most paradoxical form. However, Islam cannot understand the paradoxes of Christianity, which explains why Islam’s understanding of God’s capabilities is limited. If Islam can see the greatness of God’s power by allowing Solomon to speak to ants, i don’t understand why Muslims cannot see the greatness of God’s power and humility. If Muslims cannot imagine God in the flesh as having the same needs as a mortal, then how do they expect Christians and other religions to accept Islam’s claims?

It is more credible for God becoming man and communicating with humans - because humans use the five senses (including sound and motions). An ant is microns smaller than your pinky finger and without a larynx. They do not even have lungs. Please explain how Solomon talked to ants and how the ants talked back. I would also like to know how Mohammad communicated with trees. This would be interesting.

Through these pheromones the ants convey messages ranging from location of food to the presence of danger”!!!.

Is it proper for Muslims to say that there is anything that God cannot do? This seems…well, wrong! God is all powerful and so He can either do anything and everything (including what Christians believe He has done), or He cannot so He is not all powerful. You should decide and be consistent, not saying “well, God can do everything but this ONE thing because we find it distasteful within our tradition”. That is limiting God, is it not?

Also, there is a world of difference between being wise (which Solomon certainly was) and being some sort of animal psychic, understanding what ants are communicating with each other even though ants communicate through chemical trails that are not preceived by humans. Look up the word “humility” in any dictionary. God is not only just and mighty, He is also a humble God. A humble Man is easier to love than an arrogant god. That’s the difference.

The most knowledgeable person in the Bible is Christ Jesus. Solomon is considered only ONE of the most knowledgeable persons. Does the Qu’ran mention HOW Solomon understood the language of the ants? It seems rather silent on the issue. Do you know of any scientist today that claims they understand the language of the ants? Anyone can claim to understand ants, trees and other inanimate objects and say that God allowed him/her the gift and make an incredible story out of it. There are certain elements of spirituality and mysticism that creates foods for thoughts. And there are some, that truly leaves the intelligent reader dazed and confused. Ah. I see where you are going with this, Muslim Woman. You would like to say that it is against God’s nature as you understand it to do certain things.

Still, I wonder what could be more indicative of His nature than this. God, while absolutely not needing to do it for any reason (God is never lacking in anything, so it does not make sense to say He has needs), gives for us His most holy and perfect sacrifice (His only begotten Son, Jesus), so that through Him we may enter into the Kingdom. We don’t understand it, really…it is beyond our understanding, the love and caring and everything that is connected to this event. It is TOO unbelievable for you, of course, but I mean that even for me as a Christian…it is big. Very big. Too big to really understand, even though I do really believe it.

And that is a huuuuuge part of the Christian concept of God, that I don’t think you can understand if you say that the incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection cannot be “true” because they are somehow against God’s nature. To us, or at least to me, they are proof of God’s nature. If all you take from the Christian story of Jesus is that “God ate food”, “God had a mom just like I have a mom” or something like that…well, I don’t know what to say. Jesus did not send to us His only begotten Son so as to prove that God can eat food! It is instead a manifestation of His LOVE. “For God so LOVED the world…”

It hurts very deeply for me to imagine a world in which this kind of love is not possible to you because you object to the form it takes. Ants are fine to prove that God is somehow guiding Solomon, but Jesus is not acceptable to prove that God is somehow (and I will be a Christian forever without completely understanding how) guiding humanity to Him? Very, very strange.

After all, what could be more effective in guiding humanity to God than for God to actually be among humanity, because this is the way He has chosen to reveal Himself at that particular time? In the Old Testament, He spoke to Moses in the form of a burning bush. Would you also object to that because it is not in God’s nature to inhabit shubbery?

God is THE Judge. In the Old Testament, God was still a loving God but many people chose to turn their backs on Him and despised Him. They blasphemed Him and made a mockery of His love by worshipping idols and fornicating (coincidently the abuse of polygamous marriages was amongst them) instead of believing in His true image and love. God punished them as a last resort - after He repeatedly sent warnings through prophets, but still they disregarded His messages. If God was so arrogant, He would have annihilated ALL Jews - without the remotest chance of ever pro-creating again. He didn’t - so your arguement fails.

The Almighty came to earth in the flesh as a human. He is humblest and wisest Man that ever lived and walked on earth - before returning to His heavenly throne. Solomon was a creation of God and thus His servant. God gives everyone wisdom and Solomon was given exceptional wisdom but even he, had his faults. Jesus had no faults and was perfect. What is there to compare other than Jesus (Man) was a better example than Soloman (mortal)?

That is all false. I do not defend bigotry or intolerance. I hate bogotry and compulsion. Your prayer may not even be good for yourself. No use praying for me. Just look after yourself and be peaceful, hopeful and loving like jesus.

That is because mohammed was a liar, and I never called mohammed satan - but I have indeed suggested that his angel was Lucifer - the Prince of Lies - of which mohammed told quite often and told his followers to do when they needed to do so. And I have also suggested that mohammed had mental problems which caused him to be such a terrible man who couldn’t control his lusts, greed, quest for blood, etc.

The mental problems, I won’t go into here - but they are documented in the book, ‘Understanding muhammed, A Psychobiography’, and this takes the hadits and koran and shows the author why he came up with his thesis.

And as for mohammed lying, once again that is in your own texts:

Bukhari:V7B67N427 “The Prophet said, ‘If I take an oath and later find something else better than that, then I do what is better and expiate my oath.’”
Qur’an 9:3 “Allah and His Messenger dissolve obligations.”
Qur’an 66:2 “Allah has already sanctioned for you the dissolution of your vows.”
Bukhari:V4B52N268 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘War is deceit.’”
Qur’an 33:11 “In that situation the Believers were sorely tried and shaken as by a tremendous shaking. And behold! The Hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease said: 'Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but delusion; they have promised only to deceive us.”
Ishaq:519 “Hajjaj said to the Apostle, ‘I have money scattered among the Meccan merchants, so give me permission to go and get it.’ Having got Muhammad’s permission, he said, ‘I must tell lies.’ The Apostle said, ‘Tell them.’”

even one of his followers called mohammed a liar:

Tabari VI:110 "When Muhammad brought a revelation from Allah canceling what Satan had cast on the tongue of His Prophet, the Quraysh said, ‘Muhammad has repented of [reneged on] what he said concerning the position of our gods with Allah. He has altered [the bargain] and brought something else.’ Those two phrases which Satan had cast on Muhammad’s tongue of were in the mouth of every polytheist. The Messenger said, 'I have fabricated things against Allah and have imputed to Him words which He has not spoken.

Ishaq:323 “I am the best of plotters. I deceived them with My guile so that I delivered you from them.”

Tabari VII:94 “Muhammad bin Maslamah said, ‘O Messenger, we shall have to tell lies.’ ‘Say what you like,’ Muhammad replied. ‘You are absolved, free to say whatever you must.’”

Bukhari:V5B59N369 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?’ Thereupon Muhammad bin Maslamah got up saying, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like me to kill him?’ The Prophet said, ‘Yes,’ Maslamah said, ‘Then allow me to say false things in order to deceive him.’ The Prophet said, ‘You may say such things.’”

Do you ever post anything even remotely related to what is being discussed, Muslim Woman? We all know the Islamic view of God, at least as much as any of your video can tell us, and the Bridges Foundation is an Islamic propaganda organization that parades around Yvonne Ridley and other Western converts in an attempt to lure weak and/or clueless westerners to Islam by protraying it as essentially compatible with the style of life they enjoy in their home countries.

I stopped searching for anything useful at that site when their section on “Life in Egypt” did not mention the Copts at all! Of course, why would they do that? The historical and current extreme maltreatment of the Copts at the hands of the Muslim authorities at both the local and national level does not make Islam seem so peaceful.

I am so sick of this propaganda. Post something of substance and relevance, please.
