At What Point Does a Baby Get Human Rights in Your View?

Don’t be silly. The right to life is not even in the same category as the right to vote. While the right to vote, which is not a natural right but one granted by a governing body, must be granted prudently, the right to life, which is a natural right, is universal for all human beings, period!
I don’t agree. Ever heard of the term inalienable (or unalienable as some believe)rights?

That come from their creator?

In modern usage, however, the terms “unalienable” and “inalienable” are often thought to be synonyms; and it is likely that reference to “inalienable” rights is actually a reference to the concept of “unalienable” rights. Though this is incorrect usage, it is increasingly common.

But you should know that Germany is considering giving toddlers the right to vote.
oh yes, of course they nowadays even might vote for milk or chocolate - and depending on being upright and fulltime original Germans, thy might even vote for marmalade or jam. Gouvernement is still not sure to let them vote for or against Pampers

I think you are right about us being God’s idea, it says in the Bible that He knew us before He formed us in our Mother’s wombs. I will keep you and your family in my prayers, may you have God’s peace.
(your chocolate and pampers made me laugh, but…seriously we may as well let toddlers vote, if you know what I mean.😃 ) O.K. I’m kidding, sort of.😛
 
Insurance companies declare if an accident occurs and a pregnant woman loses her developing baby,that baby is counted as a life. We were assured when this awful decision came down from on high that abortions will make every child a wanted child.Now lets see,have we noticed any less child abuse these past 30 years,I am sure we have for no apology has been forthcoming from our rulers! The same brilliant thinking heads also assured us by legalizing pornogrophy there will be less rapes etc.for the poor souls will be satisfied viewing the garbage…I am sure it is much more safer then ever walking the streets,joggng thru the public park…and so it goes…we luv you big brudder…now tell us how we rotten misquided humans are ruining the earth…

I am of the opinion that all of us are predestined by God, His idea.
We are given life not to live by man’s standards, but to fulfill God’s plan for us. And the way we do that is to ask our Heavenly Father every day that we live in His Will, not our own.

Thank’s a lot for the rest of your words, but that what you said above, is exactly what we hardly ever consider. And it’s so important and of a huge relevance to abortion (which is a ridiculous word for murder of unborn)

I agree, a lot of people apparently don’t read what God has to say about it, to their own sin and shame. ’

…and the same “brilliant” idea about artificial birth control and look at all the diseases we have now, HIV, etc…apparently their way isn’t working, keep praying that they (the culture of death) will see the Light!!

You can start working back from the moment of birth … a baby is always a human being.

I was listening to talk radio one day a long time ago, and Ed Koch, the former mayor of New York City was being interviewed. He is extremely liberal and is extremely articulate in his political beliefs. He vigorously denounced partial-birth abortion as nothing less that infanticide and was even very agitated at the left’s attempts to disguise infanticide as something innocuous by calling it “partial birth abortion”.

So we can start with a fully-developed baby ready to be born and work backwards … at every stage in its development, a baby is a human being … and therefore fully worthy of having human rights.

In fact, if a pregnant woman is killed and the baby dies, then the person responsible for her death is also charged with the death of the baby.

The baby in the womb is a human being with full human rights.

If we can grant protection to birds’ eggs, then why not to human babies?

I read somewhere today that 25% … one fourth … of all pregnancies in the United States end with the deliberate abortion of the baby. Which makes the womb the most dangerous plane in the country.

It is NOT up to the idividual to decide! Giving it free by law, is mass-murder, a guilt the world already put upon all of us.

Actually babies whose moms “want them” from the time of birth have the same protection, they also have protection from bodily harm by law!

I believe legally in some states that protection starts at about seven, or eighth months in the womb. An individual causing the death of the baby at that time can be brought up on charges of at least manslaughter.
 
A right does not bestow an ability.

The phrase “human rights” is just a way to try to innoculate and confuse the “beginning of life” dilemna abortion advocates find themselves in. If they would merely concede that abortion is murder, the dilemna would end, but another obvious problem would emerge - they would be advocating murder. So they desperately need to find a euphemism that allows their conscience to escape.
